Gretel Hagbane Overview
Hansel and Gretel were wandering through the mystical forests of Mistwood when they came across a mysterious woman, who turned out to be an evil witch. Using dark rituals, she trapped them, unaware that this clever duo could outsmart her. They broke the curse, defeated the witch, and escaped, vowing to protect others from facing the same fate. Now, they dedicate their lives to banishing evil witches from Teleria. Gretel Hagbane, a Legendary champion of the Sacred Order, joins Raid as the Halloween Fusion champion of 2024.
Although Gretel is strong at wave control and nuking enemies on her own, she becomes even more powerful with Hansel by her side. Her Sacred Ritual [A3] is an AOE attack that reduces enemy Turn Meters by 20%, but with Hansel, this increases to 50% and becomes irresistible. She also gains a 20% Turn Meter boost for each enemy that survives the attack. Whether it’s slowing down waves, Arena opponents, or bosses like Fire Knight, this ability helps control the pace and inflict damage. Additionally, if Hansel is killed while paired with Gretel, she can instantly activate this skill, making enemies think twice before targeting him. The passive also fills her Turn Meter by 50% whenever enemies take an extra turn, allowing her to potentially cut in and counter, while also boosting Hansel’s Turn Meter when he’s on the team.
Gretel’s Shadowseeker Bolts [A2] fires 4 attacks on a target, with each hit ignoring more of the enemy’s defence. Starting at 10% defence ignored on the first hit, it increases by 5% per hit, reaching up to 25%. If she kills her target, the skill resets, and her Turn Meter fills by 50%. This makes her a strong single target nuker, capable of taking out champions like Rotos, provided she doesn’t weak hit or face protection like Stoneskin. This ability is also useful for reducing the Fire Knight’s shield counters and dealing damage when it’s down, as well as taking out the Dark Fae after defeating the clones, then controlling Turn Meter with her A3. Her A1 applies Decrease Defence, and when paired with Hansel, it becomes an AOE attack, making it effective against both waves and bosses, while also inflicting an extra hit on enemies under buffs.
