Maddak is a utility-focused Epic attacker who disrupts targets through buff removal, Block Buffs, and Block Active Skills, offering situational value in wave content as a debuffer rather than a primary damage dealer.

Maddak, Eyes of Skyiron is an Epic Attack champion built around disruptive debuffs and opportunistic damage rather than raw burst. His kit leans into buff control and debuff manipulation. While he lacks the scaling or survivability needed for top-tier content, Maddak can still carve out a role in specific encounters where controlling enemy buffs and abilities is more valuable than sustained damage.

His skills focus heavily on utility-driven offense. Maddak brings access to Block Buffs and Block Active Skills through his multi-hit A3, with the added bonus of debuff spreading to enemies. This does give him decent utility in wave-based content, where spreading key debuffs can quickly destabilize enemy teams. The downside is its only one random debuff and the A3 places 2 on its own, therefore making it somewhat unreliable. His AoE buff removal and conditional buff stealing further enhance his disruptive playstyle, especially when enemies are already locked under control effects.

Maddak’s passive grants him bonus damage against enemies with lower Accuracy, rewarding builds that invest into ACC while preying on less specialized opponents. While the damage increase is noticeable in the right matchups, it is not enough to elevate him into a primary damage dealer. As a result, he functions best as a debuffer who softens targets and enables stronger allies to finish the fight.

In practice, Maddak leaves us wanting more. He could perform well against waves, Hydra, with additional value in some of the basic dungeon like Magic keep. However, he struggles to find relevance in key areas like demon lord clan boss, Arena, and all Hard dungeon variants, where his lack of survivability and scaling becomes a major liability. He is best equipped with relics like Irethi Coronet, Malefic Talon, or Perched Shadow but he is even better equipped in the vault. Maddak is an overall average Epic who shines situationally but falls short as a long-term cornerstone.
