Yuzan the Marooned Overview

Yuzan stands as a guardian of the beasts that roam the Skinwalker lands, wielding a spiked maul that may appear built for destruction, but holds the power to restore his allies. As he charges into battle, a single swing of his weapon shields his team from incoming sorcery and strips enemies of their protection. Yuzan the Marooned is an Epic HP champion from the Skinwalkers faction.

Yuzan was introduced to Raid as part of the Lysanthir Beastbane fusion, with a kit focused on blocking incoming debuffs, healing allies, and removing buffs from enemies. Opening with his A3, he removes a random debuff from all allies, heals them by 20% of his MAX HP, and places a Block Debuffs buff on the team. In faction-limited content such as The Cursed City, Secret Rooms, or the standard and long awaited Hard Faction Wars, this is a strong combination of effects to support and sustain your team. His healing is further enhanced by his passive, which directs 20% of any surplus heal he receives from skills to his allies – Which can potentially be triggered through all of his skills.

Leading into Thundering Charge [A2], Yuzan removes 2 random buffs from all enemies and heals himself by 10% for each buff removed. This is a great way to strip enemy buffs or protective effects while triggering additional healing that can be shared with the team through his passive. Overall, he’s a solid PvE specialist – particularly strong against waves in faction limited content, and useful against bosses that apply debuffs, such as the Dragon or Doom Tower bosses like the Griffin.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
