Void x2 and Celendiel x10 Events Coming

Two Void Shard summon events will begin in RAID: Shadow Legends on Friday, August 7th.

The first event doubles the chance of summoning Epic and Legendary Champions from Void Shards. The second gives players a x10 chance to summon Celendiel the Opal Guardian after pulling a Legendary Champion.

Void Shard x2 Event

The Void x2 event increases the summon rates for Epic and Legendary Champions.

During the event, the rates increase from:

  • Epic Champions: 8% to 16%
  • Legendary Champions: 0.5% to 1%

The boost applies to the full pools of Epic and Legendary Void Champions. It does not target one Champion within those pools.

A separate x10 event will run beside the Void x2 event. This event targets Celendiel the Opal Guardian, a new Legendary Void Champion from the High Elves.

The x10 event does not increase the chance of summoning a Legendary Champion. The Void x2 event raises that rate to 1%.

Once players summon a Legendary Champion, the x10 boost gives Celendiel the Opal Guardian a larger share of the available Legendary pool.

The x10 event will end one day earlier than the Void x2 event. Players chasing Celendiel the Opal Guardian must summon before his boosted period ends.

Is Celendiel worth chasing?

Celendiel the Opal Guardian Splash Artwork

Celendiel the Opal Guardian serves as the Eternal Guardian of the High Elves. He carries a shield and sword infused with majestic opal.

His kit punishes enemies that rely on protection and control effects. He combines high damage with team-wide defence, retaliation and several powerful immunities.

Most importantly, Celendiel the Opal Guardian joins the small group of Champions capable of placing Counterattack on every ally.

Celendiel the Opal Guardian Skill Breakdown

A1: Double Stun Potential

The A1 gives Celendiel the Opal Guardian a chance to place a Stun on an enemy.

His Counterattacks repeat this skill. This interaction lets him target two enemies with a Stun instead of one.

A2: Buff Allies and Break Defences

The A2 places Increase DEF and Shatter on all allies. It then attacks one enemy.

The attack ignores Unkillable, Block Damage and 25% of the target’s DEF.

The DEF ignore rises to 50% when Celendiel the Opal Guardian has any listed effect active. This gives the attack real kill potential against protected targets.

The Increase DEF buff strengthens defensive Champions. The Shatter buff raises the team’s damage through extra DEF ignore.

A3: AoE Damage, Protection and Retaliation

The A3 attacks every enemy and can trigger an extra hit. Its damage increases by up to 100%, based on the number of buffs and debuffs on each target.

This skill then places Unkillable and Counterattack on all allies.

Unkillable protects the team from lethal damage. Counterattack turns enemy attacks into chances for the whole team to strike back.

The combination gives Celendiel the Opal Guardian both offensive and defensive value from one skill.

Passive: Punishing Control Attempts

The Passive makes Celendiel the Opal Guardian immune to Decrease DEF, Fear and Stun.

An enemy attempt to place any of these debuffs activates his A2 at once.

That reaction gives his team Increase DEF and Shatter. It then sends a powerful single-target attack back at the enemy team.

Control-heavy opponents must think carefully before targeting him with these effects.
