What’s Next in RAID: February 2026

“What’s Next in RAID” has reached its tenth episode, and this update brings new content across the board. Plarium has revealed details about the Argonites Faction, a fresh spin on the Coalition Event, and several long-requested quality of life improvements.

Here is a clear breakdown of what is coming soon.

7th Anniversary Event: Gymnastikon

RAID turns seven this year, and the anniversary theme centers on the new Argonites Faction. The Bastion will feature marble architecture inspired by ancient arenas and mythic cities.

The event will include themed activities and rewards tied to the anniversary celebration. Plarium plans to share more details about Gymnastikon and related events through official news and social channels in the coming weeks.

New Faction: The Argonites

Argonites Champion

The Argonites hail from the Argolades, a vast archipelago in the southwestern seas. This faction draws inspiration from ancient myths and heroic legends.

Expect Champions styled as mortal heroes seeking glory, larger-than-life figures worshipped across distant islands, and powerful warriors shaped by mythic tradition. The faction aims to bring a distinct visual identity and lore theme into RAID’s expanding roster.

More Champion reveals from the Argonites are on the way, and early previews suggest a strong emphasis on bold designs and heroic archetypes.

Coalition Event Update: World Boss Variant

Coalition Clan Boss

A new type of Coalition Event will introduce a tougher version of the Demon Lord. This special event removes the usual Key and Energy requirements, so players can challenge the boss without spending standard resources.

Difficulty will scale as special battle conditions activate. Players must rely on a deep roster to complete varied challenges and reach damage milestones. Each milestone grants Points, and exceeding the final milestone grants bonus Points.

Your personal Point total determines your rewards. Higher damage means better prizes. The event will still include community milestones. As the entire player base reaches global damage goals, everyone unlocks additional rewards.

Competitive players can enter the Rankings tab and compete for extra prizes based on performance.

Live Arena Friendly Battles

Friendly Battle Live Arena

Live Arena now gains a Friendly Battles feature. Players can fight friends and Clanmates at any time without spending resources. These battles do not grant rewards.

A new Friendly Battles tab appears in the Live Arena window. Through the Clan tab, you can submit a battle request visible to Clanmates. If someone accepts and you are not in another battle, you receive a notification and can start the match.

The Challengers tab allows direct battles with friends. Search by username, add each other as Challengers, and send requests when both players are online. There is a limit to the number of Challengers you can register, so selection matters.

This feature focuses on practice, testing teams, and friendly competition without risk.

Fusion Champion Change System

Fusion Changer

Plarium is introducing a system that allows players to swap the current Fusion Champion for one from a previous Fusion or Fragment Event.

This system uses Fusion Tokens. You earn one Token each time you complete a Fusion without making a swap. Tokens can then be spent during an active Fusion Event to change the target Champion.

Champions fall into three tiers. The cost to switch depends on tier strength:

  • Tier 1 Champion: 1 Fusion Token
  • Tier 2 Champion: 2 Fusion Tokens
  • Tier 3 Champion: 3 Fusion Tokens

You cannot switch to a Champion you already obtained through their original Fusion, Fragment Event, or Shard summons. Once you switch, the choice is final.

There is one safeguard. If you switch Champions but fail to complete the Fusion, the Fusion Tokens used for the swap will be refunded.

This system gives players more control over missed Fusions without removing long-term commitment.

Mastery Scroll Distribution Changes

Mastery Scroll Change

The Minotaur’s Labyrinth is getting an improvement to Mastery Scroll distribution.

Right now, only one Champion receives Scrolls per battle. Any excess Scrolls are lost if that Champion approaches the cap.

The update will redirect surplus Scrolls to another participating Champion with the highest equivalent Scroll count. All Champions must take part in the battle to qualify. Idle units in the Tavern will not receive redirected Scrolls.

This change reduces wasted resources and speeds up Mastery farming for full teams.

New Champion Teasers

As tradition dictates, the episode closed with a preview of upcoming Champions. Plarium shared a brief visual teaser and hinted at additional reveals in spring.

Full skill kits and release details have not been confirmed yet, but more information should arrive alongside anniversary announcements.
