Kassandra – Champion Spotlight
Kassandra is the time-limited Fusion champion from the Assassin’s Creed collab event in RAID: Shadow Legends, and the first champion from the 16th Faction in the game, the Argonites. In this spotlight we’ll break down how Kassandra’s skills work, how to build her, her best areas in the game, and more!

KASSANDRA’S SKILLS EXPLAINED

Kassandra is a powerful hybrid damage dealer, bringing very high single-target damage alongside multi-hits, self-buffs, a cheat-death mechanic, single-target debuffs, and AoE Stuns. Like Ezio, her debuffs and effects cannot be resisted if she is under Perfect Veil, but she has no access to that buff in her own kit.
A1 – WEST WIND RUSH
This is a strong triple-hit by default, but becomes ridiculously strong when Kassandra is lower than 50% HP. It’s quite difficult to reach this condition consistently, but her A3 sets her up for it in tough fights by making her unkillable. This is very nice for taking down the Fire Knight’s shield stacks!
A2 – SPEAR OF LEONIDAS
This is Kassandra’s big hitting attack. She places her debuffs before attacking, which helps this hit even harder, and the AoE Stun is easy to trigger and very impactful in any wave-based content, such as Faction Wars, Grim Forest, or PvP.
The combination of Decrease DEF and HP Burn is particularly nice for many bosses. For example, this opens up many Chimera Trials on a magic-affinity damage dealer which are hard to obtain otherwise, requiring extremely limited champions such as Ninja or Aphidus.
A3 – ISU’S BLESSING
The self-buffs on this ability are very nice for fights where you can’t easily squeeze them into your team comp for other damage dealers, such as Grim Forest or Chimera battles, making her a self-sufficient damage dealer (and opening up many Chimera Trials by herself). Shatter is particularly rare, giving a big damage boost when paired with other sources of Ignore DEF (such as gear sets or relics).
The cheat death mechanic has no limit: so long as Kassandra has all 3 of her buffs, she will not die. You can pair her up with champions who can Extend Buffs to ensure that her buffs never expire, and she will never die!
This also opens up good solo potential for Kassandra in dungeons, but it will require extremely high SPD and other stats to work; she makes for a good duo champion too, when paired up with a support such as Elva to ensure she can be revived if she takes too many hits without her buffs up.
P1 – EVERYTHING IS PERMITTED
Kassandra’s first passive provides a mild “execute” mechanic that works with other Assassins. It’s only OK, helping her finish off enemies in PvP. Running her with a second Assassin (e.g. Bayek or Edward) is a nice way to boost this a bit without crippling your team comp; the Assassins aren’t particularly good as a full team.
It’s not very strong in PvE, where the low damage doesn’t make much of a dent in the massive health pools of bosses etc.
P2 – BLOOD OF SPARTA
Kassandra’s second passive is very strong, giving her a huge damage boost, particularly against high level PvE enemies (e.g. Bosses) who have high DEF stats, and a huge survivability boost (again, particularly against high level PvE enemies) through a big boost to her DEF stat.
She will be one of the tankiest champion on your team for PvE, and she will scale very well with champions who provide her with Shield buffs, giving her lots of Effective HP to play with. In PvP, this passive is much weaker, since many popular damage dealers build DEF or HP instead of ATK, and nearly always have as much Ignore DEF as possible as well.
Finally, since this passive also offensively boosts her ATK (and since she has low base ATK) C.DMG% is particularly valuable for Kassandra, and she can deal significant damage to enemies even if she doesn’t have tons of ATK herself.
AURA – 19% SPD IN ALL BATTLES
A premium aura for non-void legendaries. Very useful everywhere! For PvP, it’s great for Siege, but try to get a better SPD aura for Arena fights if possible.
THE BEST AREAS FOR KASSANDRA

CHIMERA CLAN BOSS
Kassandra is decent against Demon Lord and Hydra–but she excels against Chimera.
While she won’t be the best damage dealer of all time, she does open up a huge amount of Trials all by herself thanks to the sheer number of buffs and debuffs that she brings. There are very few magic affinity damage dealers who can fill this role, making her a strong choice for accounts who are lacking Ninja or Aphidus.
She is also very survivable against all Forms due to her passive DEF boost, and is particularly good against Ram Form thanks to her A3 passive: whereas other damage dealers will often kill themselves due to the Ram’s damage reflection (if not under True Fear), Kassandra cannot die while she has her buffs active, letting her stay alive at 1 HP and powering up her A1.
PVP: ARENA AND SIEGE
Kassandra is a good champion for early-mid game PvP. She has plenty of single-target damage, letting her delete even the tankiest champions, and her multi-hit A1 will rip through enemies relying on Total Guard stacks from Mercurial sets.
Her big strengths here are her AoE Stun against unprotected teams, and her A3 passive, making her unkillable against enemies who cannot remove her buffs… This is also where she falls down in end-game play, where enemies will nearly always have counters to both of these things as a given.
PVE WAVES: DUNGEONS, DOOM TOWER, FACTION WARS, ETC.
Kassandra doesn’t have any AoE attacks for waves, but her A2 AoE Stun on such a short cooldown makes her a great champion for progression content! We expect her to be a strong pick for the Argonites Faction Wars stages when it eventually releases (we expect it in the second half of 2026).
HOW TO BUILD KASSANDRA

Kassandra should generally be built like a typical damage dealer. Alternatively, you could build her for solo dungeon runs, though this is more limited in use. The final big decision is whether to build her for PvE or PvP.
Best Stats
The key stats to look for on Kassandra are:
- 100% C.RATE
- SPD
- C.DMG%
- ATK%
- ACC
C.RATE should be built to 100% for the best damage.
SPD is essential as well. Kassandra should build high SPD compared to a typical damage dealer so that she can cycle through her abilities more often, generating more AoE Stuns for waves, and healing herself agaisnt bosses.
C.DMG% and ATK% should be built in balance, though due to her low base ATK and the bonus ATK she gains from her passive, Kassandra will prefer C.DMG% to ATK% for maximum efficiency. Use our HellHades Optimiser Tool to find the best build for her for any particular fight!
ACC is needed if you don’t have a Perfect Veil champion to run with her. If you can keep her under Perfect Veil at all times, then you can skip ACC entirely (this is very difficult to do, so aim to pick up some at least).
Best Gear Sets
The best sets for Kassanda are:
- Merciless
- Lethal
- Savage
- Zeal
- Stoneskin
- Feral/Perception
The first step for Kassandra is to build as much Ignore DEF as possible, up to 100%. The closer you are to 100% the better (there is no benefit to going over), and she provides 15% baseline from her Shatter buff.
Merciless is further beneficial due to its cooldown reduction effect and extra turn chances at 9 pieces.
Zeal is the best bonus set to pair up with Merciless for more damage if you don’t have a full 9-piece set.
Stoneskin paired with Lethal is ideal for PvP, giving Kassandra strong survivability before her first turn.
Other sets such as Feral, Perception, Cruel, etc. can be good if they give her her favourite stats!

BEST BLESSINGS AND RELICS FOR KASSANDRA
As a damage dealer, it is important to pick the best Blessings and Relics for Kassandra. We are expecting to hear about a way to get up to a 5* soul for her in the next few days (they nearly always run an event after a fusion).
Best Blessings
Check out our Blessings Tier List for full details on all Blessings!
There are a few viable Blessings:
- Brimstone (Legendary): The best option for new players. This gives tons of free damage against bosses, and will massively boost your progression. You only need one champion per team with it though, so it’s eventually better to give it to a non-damage dealer (once you have a good one with a soul) and give Kassandra something that scales up her personal damage instead.
- Nature’s Wrath (Epic): The best PvE option below 6-stars, if you don’t need Brimstone.
- Crushing Rend (Epic): The best PvE option but only at 6-stars. It’s a massive damage boost against any high level enemy (i.e. PvE content). Below 6-stars it only applies to the first hit or two, so it is almost worthless in longer boss fights.
- Lightning Cage (Legendary): The best option for PvP. This can protect Stoneskin buffs on Kassandra–or equally importantly, protect her A3 buffs, thereby ensuring she remains unkillable.
Best Relics
Check out our Relics Tier List for full details on all Relics!
There are several great options for Relics:
- Lens of Intangibility (Mythical Grim Forest Relic): The best possible relic… if you can provide her with a way to keep up Perfect Veil in longer fights (e.g. run Bayek with her).
- Irethi Coronet (Epic Chimera Relic): The ultimate budget damage relic for PvE. This relic is particularly good in longer boss fights, such as the Clan Bosses, and doesn’t need many ranks to be effective.
- The Cat’s Gaze (Legendary Event Relic): A massive damage boost in all content, with strong offensive gem sockets.
- Wand of Submission (Legendary Standard Relic): This is a top choice for PvP, protecting Kassandra from CC effects and Polymorph Blessings.
- Steel-Eyed Cutter (Rare Grim Forest Relic): The new budget damage-dealer relic from Grim Forest is a good starter option.
