Shadowbow Tirlac Overview

Camouflaged, moving swiftly through the forest of Mistwood, Shadowbow Tirlic is no stranger to the craft of archery. A true warrior that moves in silence, with a quest to watch over & protect his fellow Sylvan Watchers. He joins as part of the February 2023 Valentine’s February Fusion event.

If you are looking for Rare Defense champion with strong support, at the skills cost of rare books, look no further than Shadowbow Tirlic. He has a great kit for the future Sylvan Watchers Faction wars, and can be obtained by completing one of the Oella fusion events, or pulling him from a shard. His A1 brings a 50% chance to land a 25% Decrease ATK debuff, which may not be ideal, but a great back up skill if you fail / get resisted to place a 50% Decrease ATK from other allies.

Shadowbow brings a 15% increase SPD buff on his A2, along with an AOE attack. This will be useful to speed up your champions whilst inflicting damage to enemies in the future Faction Wars stages, enemies in Arena, secret rooms , or for PVE Waves & bosses. His A3 is one of the highlights of his kit, bringing a veil buff on your allies for 1 turn. This reduces the damage you take by 7.5% & keeps them hidden from your enemies and therefore un-targetable. He will then places a shield buff on all allies equal to 20% of his MAX HP, further adding to the protection of your champions.

Keeping with the theme of his aesthetics, the Camo Cover passive brings a further 5% damage reduction for allies under veil or perfect veil buffs. If you find the 1 turn duration of his A3 not being suffice, attempt to partner him with another champion bringing these skills, or a buff extender such as Godseeker Aniri, as an example.

Arena Roles

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
