Glensage Cithrel Overview

This herbalist of the Sylvan Watchers has long been brewing a potion from the dried out plants of the Mistwood Forest, a concoction known for halting the healing of those who consume it. Many of his allies fell victim to Amius and the mighty Nether Spider, but he has found a way to unleash this Heal Reduction poison through his staff, giving his allies a powerful chance to seek revenge. Glensage Cithrel is a Rare champion from the Sylvan Watchers.

Glensage Cithrel was introduced into the faction as the rare required to fuse Tholin Foulbeard, and he has a solid budget kit for tackling some of the tougher bosses as you progress. His A3 is particularly strong, providing Block Debuffs to allies for one turn and then filling their Turn Meter by 15%. Against bosses like Amius, this can help you block the Stun and cycle turns faster, setting up the next part of his kit.

His A2 applies the crucial Heal Reduction debuff you need to stop bosses like Amius or the Nether Spider from healing, though it only has a 75% chance, so RNG can be a factor. This is also handy against waves with heavy healing, such as certain enemies in Faction Wars or The Cursed City. Additionally, his A1 has a chance to apply the 25% version of Decrease Accuracy, helping your team resist incoming debuffs from the target. He might not be the strongest Rare in the game, but he certainly has a role in niche situations where you need his specific debuffs and utility.

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
