Night Queen Krixia Overview

Referred to as the Queen of darkness, this Mythic legend floats above the Knights Revenant empire, banishing enemies & traitors to damnation. Night Queen Krixia is a Mythical Champion from the Knights Revenant Faction.

BASE FORM

As a mythical champion, Krixia can switch between two Metamorphs, with each form having a different set of abilities. In her base form, the Deathly Apparition [A3] Removes all buffs from enemies, followed by increasing the cooldowns of their skills by 3 turns. This is a powerful synergy for one ability, and can be the perfect set up to annihilate your enemies in Arena before they can cycle their active skills! Leading in the the Doom Lantern [A2], she places a Decrease Resistance & Block buffs on enemies. Although this is a strong for Arena, this is also a great combo for the Hydra to alleviate the accuracy thresholds required, whilst blocking those buffs in the process. Krixia is also immune to Stun Debuffs to counter champions such as Armanz, and can increase her ACC by 1 of every 2 RES with the passive. This is like a mirrored variation of Mithrala Lifebane, allowing you to build her with some RES & still gaining Accuracy stats.

ALTERNATE FORM

Switching to the Queen of darkness, this set of skills grant the reverse effects of her base form. Opening with the Nightpurge [A3], she will now Remove Debuffs from allies, then decreases their cooldowns by 3 turns. In an ideal set up, you could lock out enemies with her base form, before switching to reset your allies in this form. She then leads in with the Rain Of Damnation to place a Block Debuffs & Increase RES on allies, followed by filling their Turn Meter by 20%. This synergy will mitigate the chance of being controlled by the enemy team, and coincides with her passive to increase her speed for every 10 RES she has [stacks up to 50]. Last but not least, she is immune to Sleep Debuffs to counter champions such as Siphi & Kymar, and decreases the duration of ally debuffs with her Bladewing [A1].

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
