Robar & Abbess Rebalances Coming

RAID: Shadow Legends is giving two veteran Legendary Champions a major refresh in Update 11.75. Robar and Abbess are both receiving extensive changes to bring their kits up to modern standards.

Robar gains a brand-new Passive Skill, extra Speed, new self-buffs, and stronger links to crowd control effects. Abbess receives her own new Passive, more damage, better DEF Ignore effects, and several changes designed to reduce the stats needed to make her kit work.

Here is everything changing for both Champions.

Robar Rebalance

Robar is a Legendary Force Attack Champion from the Orcs Faction. He has been part of RAID for years, but his older kit has struggled to compete with newer damage dealers.

Update 11.75 gives Robar far more than a simple damage increase. His reworked kit adds Increase ACC, Increase ATK, True Fear, DEF Ignore, Turn Meter boosts, and a completely new Passive.

His base Speed will rise from 97 to 102.

Wild Swing

Before:

Attacks all enemies. Each hit has a 75% chance of placing a 60% Decrease DEF debuff for 2 turns.

After:

Before attacking, Robar places a 50% Increase ACC buff and a 50% Increase ATK buff on himself for 2 turns.

He then attacks all enemies. Each hit has a 75% chance of placing a 60% Decrease DEF debuff and a True Fear debuff for 2 turns.

The cooldown remains at 4 turns.

Robar now boosts two key offensive stats before the attack lands. The new True Fear debuff feeds directly into other parts of his reworked kit.

Merciless Assault

Before:

Attacks all enemies. Damage increases against targets under Fear, True Fear, Freeze, Provoke, Sleep, Stun, or Petrification.

4-turn cooldown.

After:

Attacks all enemies and ignores 20% of each target’s DEF and Shield buffs.

Damage still increases against targets under Fear, True Fear, Freeze, Provoke, Sleep, Stun, or Petrification.

The cooldown drops from 4 turns to 3 turns.

Robar now has built-in DEF Ignore on this attack. His new True Fear effect on Wild Swing gives him a direct way to activate the increased damage condition himself.

Orc Brotherhood [P]

Robar previously had no Passive Skill. Update 11.75 adds Orc Brotherhood [P] to his kit.

Robar fills his Turn Meter by 15% whenever Fear, True Fear, Freeze, Provoke, Sleep, or Stun is placed on an ally other than Robar.

He fills all allies’ Turn Meters by 15% whenever he places a Stun debuff on an enemy.

Robar also counterattacks with his Stunning Strength skill whenever an ally from the Orcs Faction is attacked. This can occur once per turn.

The Passive gives Robar much stronger links to Orc teams and crowd control Champions.

Aura

Robar’s Faction Crypts Accuracy Aura is receiving a sizeable increase.

Before: Increases Ally ACC in Faction Crypts by 50.

After: Increases Ally ACC in Faction Crypts by 80.

Combined with the rest of his changes, Robar is receiving a clear push towards Faction Wars alongside his fellow Orcs.

Abbess Rebalance

Abbess

Abbess is a Legendary Force Attack Champion from The Sacred Order.

Like Robar, she comes from RAID’s earlier years. Her unusual damage mechanics gave her some interesting uses, but parts of her kit have fallen behind newer Attack Champions.

Update 11.75 gives Abbess more offensive power across her active skills and introduces The Brightest Light, her first Passive Skill.

Arrow of Rebuke

Before:

Attacks 1 enemy. Removes 1 random debuff from Abbess and places it on the target.

After:

Attacks 1 enemy. Removes 1 random debuff from Abbess and places it on the target.

Abbess then has a 100% chance of stealing 1 random buff from the target.

The skill’s damage multiplier has been increased.

Her A1 can now transfer one of her own debuffs to the enemy and steal one of their buffs in the same attack.

Mass Impalement

Before:

Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% Decrease DEF debuff for 2 turns.

4-turn cooldown.

After:

Before attacking, has a 75% chance of placing a 60% Decrease DEF debuff for 2 turns.

The attack will ignore 15% of each target’s DEF and Shield buffs.

Abbess gains an Extra Turn if this attack kills an enemy.

The cooldown remains at 4 turns.

Moving Decrease DEF ahead of the attack means Abbess can benefit from her own debuff during the hit. The Extra Turn mechanic then rewards her for securing a kill.

Divine Wrath

Divine Wrath receives one of the largest changes in Abbess’ kit.

Before, Basic:

Attacks all enemies. Damage is based on either Abbess’ ATK or the target’s DEF or ATK stat, whichever is highest.

Deals 30% extra Critical Damage if the target’s ATK is highest. Ignores 30% of the target’s DEF if the target’s DEF is highest.

After, Basic:

Before attacking, Abbess places a 50% Increase ATK buff on herself for 2 turns.

She then attacks all enemies.

The attack ignores 15% of each target’s DEF.

It ignores another 30% of each target’s DEF if Abbess’ ATK is greater than the target’s DEF.

The attack also ignores Unkillable buffs.

The skill’s damage multiplier has been increased.

Ascended Divine Wrath

The Ascended version follows the same new damage conditions.

Abbess attacks all enemies and ignores 15% of each target’s DEF.

She ignores another 30% DEF if her ATK is greater than the target’s DEF.

The attack also ignores Unkillable buffs.

Its damage multiplier has been increased.

The cooldown remains at 6 turns.

The rework removes the old condition based on whichever target stat was highest. Players can now activate the extra DEF Ignore by building Abbess with more ATK than her target’s DEF.

The Brightest Light [P]

Abbess previously had no Passive Skill. Update 11.75 introduces The Brightest Light [P].

Abbess ignores 25% of each target’s RES if her ATK is greater than the target’s ATK.

Her ATK increases by 5% for each buff received or stolen, stacking up to a maximum increase of 50%.

This new Passive ties directly into her reworked kit. Her A1 can steal buffs, and each stolen or received buff can increase her ATK.

Higher ATK then helps Abbess meet the conditions attached to both her Passive and Divine Wrath.

Aura

Abbess’ Faction Crypts ATK Aura is getting stronger.

Before: Increases Ally ATK in Faction Crypts by 34%.

After: Increases Ally ATK in Faction Crypts by 40%.
