The Ultimate Epics For Hard Faction Wars – Undead Hordes!

Hard Faction Wars has arrived in Teleria for those who have already claimed Lydia the Deathsiren as the ultimate reward for 3-starring all the stages in Normal difficulty. Now, the quest continues for the latest Faction Wars reward, Polara Fireheart – a Mythical champion from the Sacred Order. Along the way, you’ll earn some impressive milestone rewards as you push through these new stages. In this series of articles, we’ll be spotlighting some of the MVP Epic champions you should consider for each faction.

This new Hard Mode adds extra challenges to earn those 3-star clears: 1 star for simply completing the stage, 2 stars for finishing with 5 champions without losing anyone, and a final 3rd star for completing the unique stage condition. The Epics we’re featuring here range from top-tier powerhouses to those who fill a niche role – sometimes perfectly suited for tackling specific stage conditions, and sometimes offering broad utility that can cover multiple requirements.

You’ll also come across a stage that requires you to beat it using at least 3 Epic champions – so even if you have Meta Legendaries for most stages, these Epics will still find a place in your team for that challenge. Let’s dive into some of the best Epic champions from the Undead Hordes!

Seeker

Seeker Portrait

Aside from helping with stage conditions that require Provoke debuffs to secure 3 star clears, Seeker remains one of the simplest yet most effective Epic champions for offensive support. His A2 fills allies’ Turn Meters by 30%, places Increase Attack to boost their damage, and grants him an Extra Turn – allowing for more frequent use of the skill and helping your team stay ahead and eliminate enemies faster. He also has a passive that heals him and places Increase Defence on all allies when he takes a critical hit.

Husk

Husk-Portrait

This Epic is best known for his Enemy Max HP nuke, but he can be surprisingly useful for certain Faction Wars stage conditions. With limited Stun options in the faction, his AOE Stun chance makes him valuable for stages 3 and 11, while also providing general crowd control across other waves. His A1 offers a decent chance to apply Provoke when needed, and he deals respectable damage across his abilities.

Gorgorab

This Epic is currently the only active skill reviver of his rarity within the faction, making him a valuable option if you’re lacking higher rarity alternatives. However, keep in mind that his revive ability will still trigger the healing effect even if no allies are dead, which can leave the skill on cooldown when you need it most. Outside of that, he offers strong offensive support by boosting ally Turn Meters and placing Increase Attack to enhance their damage output.

Mausoleum Mage

If you’re looking for a champion who offers strong defensive support, Mausoleum Mage is a great option – especially for stage 10, where at least three Epics are required. His A3 removes debuffs from allies, heals them, and boosts their Turn Meter if two or more debuffs are cleansed. His A2 adds even more value by placing Increase C.Rate, Increase Defence, and Block Debuffs on allies, giving your team the protection and utility needed to stay alive and push through tough stages.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

ostrox potrait

Zelotah

The main reason to consider this champion is for stages 5 and 13, where applying the Sleep debuff is required throughout the rounds. He offers a 75% chance to place Sleep with his A3, along with an additional chance through his A1. Beyond his crowd control, he also supports the team with Shields and Continuous Heal buffs, adding extra survivability.

Ostrox Boneglaive

Ostrox is primarily built for Hydra Clan Boss, but the duration and reliability of his Block Buffs make him a strong option for shutting down buff heavy waves as well. He also brings valuable support by cleansing random debuffs from allies and placing Increase Accuracy, helping your team land key debuffs more consistently.

Vogoth

Stages 4 and 12 require you to place Provoke debuffs on enemies to earn the 3 star clear, and Vogoth is a great option for this thanks to his AOE Provoke potential. He also applies Decrease Attack to enemies under Provoke, helping reduce incoming damage, while his passive heals allies whenever he’s hit, adding valuable sustain. Additionally, he can place Leech on enemies when attacked, making him useful for meeting the stage 2 and 8 conditions as well.

Catacomb Councilor

Stage 16 requires you to defeat 3 or more enemies using Ally Attack or Counterattack abilities, and that’s where Catacomb Councilor comes in. His A3 teams up with 3 random allies to hit a single enemy, and using this skill a few times throughout the battle – especially against vulnerable targets – can help you meet the condition. Outside of this niche use, he offers a triple hit single-target attack for decent damage, heals himself based on the damage dealt, and can self buff with a 25% Increase Attack on his A1.
