IS HE WORTH USING?

YES!!! Titus is the one of the best fusion of all time… Do not miss out on getting him!
HE DESTROYS EVERY BOSS
We’ll explain this in detail in the next section, but the short version is that Titus’ A2 can hit insanely hard due to damage which scales off Shields–and it’s possible to inflate Shields to a massive number by using a couple of very specific champions.
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
The biggest problem with this crazy potential damage from Titus is that he is totally reliant on other champions to place and–more pressingly–to grow his Shields.
The key champion to pair with Titus is Vault Keeper Wixwell: not only can he place Shields, but he can extend their duration and grow them better than any other champion. Underpriest Brogni is another option but he is significantly harder to build and is nowhere near as good.
Luckily Wixwell was a fusion last year, so many people have him; unluckily, if you missed his fusion for any reason, you cannot maximise the value of Titus.
YOU NEED A MYTHICAL TO MIN/MAX HIM
It’s also worth noting that of the three types of Shield buff in the game (artifacts and ability Shields are separate, and are the first two), the third type is exclusive to the Mythical Relic, Volcardiac Heart: Magma Shield.
This buff is a totally unique type of Shield that reflects damage–but the important thing for Titus is that it exists separately from other Shield buffs and can be increased alongside them, further boosting his damage.
So yeah… Good luck crafting one.
TITUS SKILLS EXPLAINED

Titus is one of the most complex fusion champions we’ve seen in a long time–mostly due to the weird functionality of his A2, and its potential to completely break the game if used correctly.
A1 – Ravenblade
A very respectable A1, bringing the rare and highly valuable Block Active Skills debuff. This debuff is particularly useful in 2025 since it can prevent mythical champions from metamorphing.
This also combines well with allies who have Ally Attack, Counter-attack, or instant triggers in their kits, such as previous fusion Tholin who instantly activates his A1 every few turns.
A2 – Student of War
This is the skill which is breaking the entire game.
The simple explanation for this skill is as follows:
- Give Titus as many Shield buffs as possible.
- Grow these Shields with Vault Keeper Wixwell.
- Do absurd damage.
But how does it work? The multiplier for this skill is: 5.5xDEFx(1+Shields_Sum_Value/HP):
- A flat 5.5xDEF multiplier is already very strong single target damage.-
- Shields_Sum_Value/HP simply means the total value of all Shield buffs on Titus combined, divided by his HP.
- You can have 3 different Shield buffs: Shield from artifacts; Shield from abilities; Magma Shield from the mythical Volcardiac Heart relic.
- You want Titus to have as little HP as possible, since this divides into his total Shields to calculate his damage.
- Stack as much C.DMG% as possible for another multiplier
- Stack as many damage boosts as possible for even more (e.g. Firrol passive, 9-piece protection set bonuses, etc.)
The more Shields you have, and the bigger you grow them with Wixwell, the better the damage will be. You will also need several buff extenders in the team to ensure the Shield buffs will never expire. When trying to maximise Titus’ damage, you basically have to build an entire team dedicated to enabling him.
It’s a lot of work to make this skill shine… But considering it can hit a Hydra head for OVER 200 MILLION DAMAGE (yeah, I’m not joking), you can see why this is so strong.
A3 – Androc’s Confidant
This is a fantastic ability, though due to his busted A2 you likely won’t be using it much.
The buffs and Turn Meter Increase are massive, and Titus is a great enabler for any ATK-based damage dealer.
The passive trigger for this ability is what really sets it apart: there is no cooldown on it and he can trigger it as many times per turn as he wants, so long as the conditions are met. This is particularly useful against champions who Increase your Skill Cooldowns in arena, potentially keeping your team alive and getting them through turns quickly until their cooldowns come back. It’s also very useful against bosses or enemies in waves who remove your buffs and leave your squishy champions vulnerable.
Unfortunately, since this places Ally Protection and you will likely be building Titus with massive C.DMG% and trying to stack Shields on him, you can’t use this in many teams: C.DMG% (weirdly) increases the damage you take from Ally Protection, and that damage will reduce his Shields…… No Bueno.
P1 – For Lord & Land
This is a very nice passive and it does scale up Titus’ damage as well. In theory, you could use his A3 to delay his A2 to stack this passive even more, but this is not very useful in practice: enemies don’t attack enough for this to be worthwhile and you should simply use his A2 as often as possible (preferably with reset champions) for maximum value.
Outside of his crazy Shield teams, this is still a great passive which provides a very nice damage boost to your team: even a simple 10% damage boost is substantial in this game, and this will regularly happen against Clan Bosses or the new Faction Wars Hard bosses.
Aura – 40% Void HP in All Battles
This is a unique aura (it reminds us of how Odin has a unique SPD aura for voids) and is phenomenal for void champions.
BUT, hilariously, this aura makes Titus worse and should never be used if building him for damage. Why? It’s due to how his A2 works: with his HP dividing the value of his Shields, you want as many big Shields as possible but as little HP as possible to maximise its damage.
Yeah, it’s terrible design… But now you know.
HOW TO BUILD TITUS

Best Stats
The key stats to look for on Titus are:
- C.DMG%
- DEF%
- SPD
- RES
- C.RATE%
- HP%
Due to his game-breaking A2, there are two totally different paths to take when building Titus: A2 damage; or a supportive tank.
If building for A2 damage, C.DMG% and DEF% are the most important stats, as both increase his damage. C.RATE% is not needed, since he will always crit while he has a Shield buff. HP and HP% should be avoided since they will lower his A2 multiplier. RES will be an important stat depending on your team comp as it will prevent his Shield buffs being stolen.
If building as a supportive tank, HP% and SPD become more important. HP% will allow you to survive incoming damage from Ally Protection and will make Shield or Bolster sets stronger, and SPD will let you cycle through his abilities. ACC is important if you will be lacking Shields for his A2 Provoke.
Best Gear Sets
The best sets for Titus are:
- Merciless
- Lethal
- Savage
- Zeal
- Bolster
- Stoneskin
For an A2 damage build, you want to pick sets with Ignore Defence, C.DMG%, or other damage boosting stats.
For a supportive build, you want a Bolster or Shield set so he can self-activate his resistance-ignoring effects. Stoneskin should be combined with this build to maximise him in arena.

BEST BLESSINGS AND RELICS FOR TITUS
As the new hottest damage dealer for every Clan Boss, choosing the rights blessings and relics for Titus is essential!
Best Blessings
Check out our Blessings Tier List for full details on all Blessings!
There are several great options for Blessings for Titus:
- Crushing Rend (Epic): this is Titus’ best blessing by far but only at 6* awakened. The ignore defence bonus gives a huge damage boost; it is worth prioritising his soul in the wishlist or soul merchant, as this far outstrips his non-6* options.
- Heavencast (Epic): the best non-6* damage option for Titus–but it’s a massive downgrade from 6* (better buy those soulstones folks… Plarium is so kind for selling them eh?! $$$)
- Lightning Cage (Legendary): this is Titus’ best support and/or arena option, helping to protect his buffs and keep him alive for longer.
- Brimstone (Legendary): potentially a nice damage option for support Titus builds against bosses, though you will need to build enough ACC on him for it to work (at 6* you should simply go for Crushing Rend).
Best Relics
Check out our Relics Tier List for full details on all Relics!
There are several great options for Relics for Titus:
- Crown of Corruption (Mythical Event Relic): a massive damage boost to further enhance his A2.
- The Cat’s Gaze (Legendary Event Relic): the best legendary damage relic in the game is (unsurprisingly) amazing for him as well, stacking with the ignore defence you’ll get through gear, masteries, and area bonuses.
- Essence Quencher (Legendary Chimera Relic): this is Titus’ best non-exclusive relic, giving a generic damage boost for his A2.
- Malefic Talon (Rare Chimera Relic): the best budget relic; essentially a C.DMG% stat-stick.
- Aspect of Siroth (Legendary Standard Relic): the best arena support build relic, helping him stay alive for extra triggers of his passive and A3 passive.
