There are plenty of strong passives that Epic champions bring to the table, but today we’re highlighting the Top 10 that truly stand out above the rest. GEOMANCER

He doesn’t hold the title of ‘Boss Slayer’ for nothing – this champion’s passive works hand in hand with the HP Burns he applies. He reduces the damage allies take by 15% from enemies under his burns, while also deflecting that damage back onto them. In addition, whenever he is attacked, he reflects 30% of the damage, with each deflect hit carrying a chance to deal bonus damage equal to 3% of the enemy’s MAX HP. From Demon Lord and Hydra to Doom Tower and Dungeon bosses, this stands as one of the most powerful damage reflection abilities in Raid.

Venomage

Venomage has stood the test of time as one of the stronger Epic champions in Raid, particularly in content like Amius, Nether Spider and the Demon Lord. While Heal Reduction isn’t typically used against the Demon Lord, her passive makes enemies under the effect deal 15% less damage. This gives the debuff value even in areas where Heal Reduction isn’t strictly needed, helping your team survive heavy hits. On top of that, Venomage is a reliable poisoner who also brings key debuffs such as Decrease ATK and Decrease DEF, both reducing incoming damage and boosting your team’s overall output.

Hilda Arnorndottr

Hilda is one of the latest additions to Raid, and we expect she’ll truly shine as more players get her. Unlike Venomage, her passive works in reverse – enemies under her Heal Reduction or Stun debuffs cause allies to deal 15% more damage to them. Her single target Heal Reduction shines most against bosses like Amius or the Fire Knight, while her AoE Stun adds value by boosting damage potential and control against both PvE waves and PvP enemies. On top of that, Hilda brings respectable damage across all her skills, provides Increase ATK to allies, and delivers multiple hits to cut down enemies or deplete the Fire Knight’s shield counters.

DoomPriest

Doompriest’s passive is simple, yet highly effective. At the start of her turn, she heals all allies by 7.5% of their HP and removes one random debuff, providing a consistent way to counter enemies or bosses that frequently apply debuffs and control effects. This makes her universally valuable across a wide range of encounters. Beyond her passive, she also brings team utility with Increase ATK, and her A1 can place a 15% Increase C.RATE on a random ally whenever she lands a critical hit.

Vogoth

This Epic brings not one, but two valuable passive effects. First, whenever he’s attacked, he heals allies for 50% of the damage received, or 25% if the hit comes from a boss (with him receiving only half the heal that his allies gain). This provides excellent team sustain against tough enemies, especially in encounters like Bommal when Dreadbombs explode. His second passive applies Leech to attackers when hit, and if they’re under Provoke, he also has a chance to increase a random skill cooldown. Altogether, he’s a strong blend of control, sustain, and support, who places Decrease ATK on Provoked targets and reliable team healing.

Inquisitor Shamael

This champion has long been a staple in Hydra teams – and for good reason. His passive instantly removes Fear or True Fear from allies and fills the leader’s Turn Meter by 15%, while each of his critical hits boosts his own Turn Meter by 7.5%. This makes him the perfect counter to the Head of Torment in Hydra, letting teams bypass the need for Perfect Veil, while also proving valuable against Fear applying enemies elsewhere. On top of that, Shamael brings a hard hitting A2 that can reach 100% Ignore DEF when he’s under enough buffs, making him both an insane damage dealer and one of the best Fear counters in the game.

Skytouched Shaman

The main drawback of this champion’s passive is that she deals 10% of her own MAX HP to herself at the start of each turn, along with placing Decrease SPD and a 50% chance to Fear herself. The upside, however, is that she heals all allies (except herself) by 50% of her current lost HP – which can result in massive team wide healing every time she takes a turn. In encounters like the Iron Twins, Phantom Shogun & waves, she can single handedly carry a vulnerable team back to full health depending on her HP pool. On top of that, she brings strong utility by cleansing debuffs, placing Block Debuffs and Revive on Death, and even using her AoE A1 to either heal or boost Turn Meter.

Akemtum

Akemtum’s passive is incredibly strong, allowing him to inflict damage from one Poison onto all enemies under Hex whenever their allies take Poison damage. This can quickly snowball into damage across multiple targets, whether in Spider’s Den, wave content, or even against Arena teams during progression. He enables this passive through his A3 and A1 – applying Hex to all enemies, then using his triple hit A1 to place single target Poisons and spread random debuffs to all enemies if the target is under Hex. Pairing him with another poisoner only amplifies his potential even further!

Rector Drath

Rector Drath has stood the test of time as one of the strongest support revivers in her rarity. Her passive heals allies under Veil or Perfect Veil by 10% whenever they take a turn, while also boosting their RES by 50. This provides steady HP sustain and helps allies reach the Resistance thresholds needed to withstand incoming debuffs in tougher encounters. Her active utility revolves around single target revives and team sustain, with her A2 healing all allies by 20% and then placing Perfect Veil on those at full HP or Continuous Heal with less – making her an exceptional support for content like Hydra and wave battles.

lady annabelle

When it comes to Bommal the Dreadhorn, no Epic makes the fight easier than Lady Annabelle! Her unique passive heals her by 50% whenever an ally or enemy dies – and since the Dreadbombs are classed as enemies, she heals massively on each detonation, allowing her to withstand the hits. While the passive can provide sustain in other areas, this encounter is where it truly shines. Beyond that, she offers great team utility with Increase SPD for allies, HP Swap to support a teammate, Leech and Decrease SPD for enemies, and additional self healing through her A1.

Godseeker Aniri

We set out to cover a Top 10, but leaving out Godseeker would have been impossible! Her passive not only increases all healing received by allies by 10%, but also preempts a fatal hit by placing Revive on Death before the damage lands – keeping an ally in the fight and adding another layer of team sustain. This pairs perfectly with her A3, a revival that also resets the target’s skill cooldowns, making her exceptional in encounters like Sand Devil. On top of that, she provides an AoE heal, decreases enemy buff durations, and extends ally buffs by 1 turn – all of which make her a standout in content such as Demon Lord speed tuned teams.
