Yuletide Events in RAID: Shadow Legends
Plarium has outlined two festive in-game events arriving soon in RAID: Shadow Legends, giving players new summoning opportunities and a chance to earn a powerful Legendary Champion through a limited-time event. Here’s a full breakdown of what’s coming, when it starts, and what you can expect to gain.
Progressive Chance Event – Starts Friday, December 19

Kicking things off this Friday is a Progressive Chance Event, offering players increased odds to summon specific Champions from a curated pool. During this event, you’ll be able to select your preferred Champions and receive at least a x15 chance to summon them when opening shards.
This Progressive Chance applies across Ancient, Primal, Sacred, and Void Shards, giving players flexibility depending on their shard stock and summoning plans.
Legendary Champions (1 Slot)
The following Legendary Champions will be available in the Progressive Chance pool:
- Gnut
- Glaicad of the Meltwater
- Blizaar the Howler
- Tatura Rimehide
- Gliseah Soulguide
- Tormin the Cold (Void)
- Lady Noelle (Void)
- Gurgoh the Augur (Void)
These Champions cover a wide range of roles, from crowd control and survivability to high-end PvP utility, but most notably, Freeze debuffs – making this event especially appealing for players targeting specific upgrades.
Epic Champions (1 Slot)
The Epic pool includes:
Each of these Epics offers strong niche value and is packed out with loads of Freeze debuffs, particularly valuable for players looking to strengthen faction teams or specific PvE encounters.
Event Duration: 72 hours
Yuletide Deck of Fate – Starts Monday, December 22
Following closely behind is the Yuletide Deck of Fate Event, launching on Monday, December 22. This event gives players a chance to obtain Hilvi the Rime-called, alongside other valuable rewards, through the familiar card-flipping Deck of Fate system.
Unlike standard summoning events, Deck of Fate does not rely on shard pulls directly. Instead, players earn points through specific in-game actions and spend them to reveal cards.
How to Earn Event Points
You’ll gain points during the event by:
- Summoning Souls from Soulstones
- Obtaining Artifacts and Accessories
This makes the event accessible to a wide range of players, including those focused on gear farming or Soulstone usage.
Hilvi the Rime-called Fragments
Champion Fragments for Hilvi will be distributed across the Deck of Fate cards as follows:
- 30 Fragments hidden under 10 Common (Green) Cards
- 40 Fragments hidden under 8 Rare (Blue) Cards
- 30 Fragments hidden under 3 Epic (Purple) Cards
In total, all fragments needed to summon Hilvi the Rime-called will be obtainable during the event.
Notably, Pinned Rarity will be disabled, meaning card rarity cannot be locked in advance. This increases the element of risk and randomness when flipping cards, so careful point management will be important.
Event Duration: 96 hours
Final thoughts
With a targeted Progressive Chance Event followed by a fragment-based Deck of Fate, the upcoming week offers strong opportunities for both shard-heavy players and those focused on event efficiency. Whether you’re hunting specific Legendary Champions or planning to secure Hilvi the Rime-called through consistent gameplay, these events provide multiple paths to meaningful progression during the holiday period.
Be sure to plan your resources carefully, especially with the overlap of summoning-focused and gear-focused point sources.
