Suzerain Katonn Overview

Suzerain Katonn is an AoE-focused Undead legendary who brings reliable debuffs, shield removal, and crowd control across all content, offering strong progression value as a damage dealer and debuff enabler after his consistency buffs.

Roaming the shadow realm, a demonic figure floats gracefully through darkness, seeking to banish his enemies with Temporal Nova. Suzerain Katonn is a Spirit affinity legendary from the Undead Hordes faction.

Suzerain Katonn was recently buffed in patch 7.0 alongside Elegaius, making him more consistent in terms of Debuff placement, whilst packing more of a punch! He is unique in the sense of all skills being AOE, making him a strong candidate to equip Artefacts such as Stun and Provoke (For crowd control), or simply being a top tier Campaign farmer. Before the buff, he was famously known for his non resistible shield removal (No accuracy is required), and still holds that value against Krisk teams as an example, however he doesn’t have the capability to remove protected / Un-removable shields. This is followed by a 100% Heal Reduction to gain heal control over your enemies!

Hex Of years has a 100% chance to place Weaken, and a 75% chance to place Decrease defence which are both crucial Debuffs when facing the Hydra boss, Dungeons, Arena, Faction wars or progressing in the demon lord (Granted its a 4 turn cooldown). This Coincides with a A1 that has a 50% chance to place a Decrease speed debuff, which is ideal for slowing down Hydra heads, or the Iron Twins fortress as examples.

To conclude, Suzerain Katonn holds universal value for most players, bringing both damage and crowd control with all AOE abilities. It is important to note ALL of his skills require accuracy apart from the shield buff removal, therefore building him with accuracy is recommended if planning to use him for more than a damage dealer / Shield remover.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
