What makes an effective 12-3 Brutal Campaign Farmer?

Spacer

In this post, we’re going to cover what it takes to make an effective 12-3 campaign farmer, different options and ways to build them for consistently fast campaign runs to level your food in Raid Shadow Legends.

First of all, what do we mean by effective? By this, we’re looking at champions who can consistently run 12-3 Brutal campaign with 100% success in a fast time, with 3 random champions for XP.

As mentioned in our post here, all 4 of the starter champions make for useful campaign farmers in the early game, but as you progress you will find yourself with much better, faster champions for this.

Some of the best and most used champions for this are:
Ithos – Void – Legendary
Bellower – Void – Rare
Skullcrown – Void – Epic
Queen Eva – Spirit – Legendary
Fell hound – Void – Rare
Big’Un – Magic – Legendary
Rae – Magic – Legendary

While there are many other options, some of them do not have only AOE abilities which means their AI can prioritise a single target hit instead, which will slow down your run, and some are negative affinity which brings the chance of a weak hit slowing down your run.

The most common way of building your campaign farmer is to give them 100% Crit rate, and high Critical Damage + Attack, with minimal speed as the enemies in 12-3 are very slow, this will ensure you are able to 1 shot all 3 waves and clear the stage in 6-10 seconds.

Another commonly used gearing method for this, is by having enough speed to go twice per turn the enemy takes, for this you want to aim for around 190 speed, and as much damage into your build as you can, this is less effective as while running with food they might be fast enough to go between your turns which will make the run take longer, however, it is a perfectly viable method if you can’t reach the gear levels required to 1 shot the waves, one thing to note is that this method doesn’t work for all champions, like Queen Eva for example, as she relies on her A3 killing people to reset its cooldown.

My campaign farmer is FELLHOUND i use 1 set of SAVAGE and 1 set of CRUEl. Her stats are 2.4k ATAK, 3.6k DEFENSE, 174 SPEED, 100% CRIT RATE and 159% CRIT DAMAGE, he finishes the stage 12-3 in 6 seconds, and on stage 12-6 he sometimes finishes in 10 seconds, most of the time it’s 11 seconds but isn’t a 100% win rate, sometimes the boss kills him.

I use Ninja. 100% success rate on 12-3, never tried him on 12-6. He clears 12-3 in about 1 minute. Slowest run i’ve seen from him is a 2:02.

USE YOUR STARTER! Ninja farms A LOT slower than any of the starters. if your run is more than 40 seconds, then you are using the wrong champion.

I use Rae in a less than ideal setup. Hardly ideal, but until i can build my felhound, she’s easily the best I’ve got. Finishes runs in about 17 seconds.

My Deliana does in 20-22 seconds, for me is good. I beleive that Trunda, could do a good work.

I use Trunda for my farming and depending on who I’m leveling, since her AOE attacks are not available to start Round 3, it’s usually takes 20 seconds.

What gear do you have on deliana? I have yet to find a good farmer that I have. But I do have her.

I use Queen Eva … was kinda bummed when I got her as she is not that strong elsewhere but as a farmer she averages about 7 seconds in12-3 and clears 12-7 great also… she will have a miss now and again but overall pretty awesome farmer

I would love to get a second Anchorite to attempt a speed farm build. Mine is built for support- he has average gear, and a joke for crit rate/damage with no offensive masteries, but he can do 12-3 in under a minute 100% success rate. I’m sure with good crit rate/dmg where he could one or even two-shot, he would be sub 20-second, maybe sub 10.

I would 100% build Saurus as a 12-3 Brutal farmer and never look back. Easy to build and is a farm-able uncommon champion from the campaign 10 Godfrey’s crossing (easy to get the skills all the way up). Leaves your other more versatile and powerful characters available for other spots as Saurus fills this niche spot with a consistent 7 second / 100% win rate. The key is Saurus has only 2 skills and they are both AOE (always hitting all enemies). It’s a simple build as well, I have a little help from my Hall with attack and crit damage at level 4. Other than that I am running 124 speed / 4,400 attack / 100% crit rate and 168% crit damage all pretty attainable in this category of NEW players. When the gear and stats were a little lighter I was still getting 12 second runs, now I only get the occasional one until I beef up a few more stats. Good luck and happy raiding!

Can I ask why you guys are doing 12-3 brutal and not whatever the highest you could get on nightmare? Like why not go as high as you can on nightmare? I’m confused why stop on 12-3? You won’t get nearly as much XP on 12-3 brutal as you would on 6-6 nightmare that you’ll be easily able to do in 40 seconds with deliana and in moderate gear. If deliana can do it for me I’m sure these other stronger champs can do it in much faster and easier times and for much more xp. I don’t get it

12-3 is the best compromise between silver and XP (you can sell shields for more than other gear). While Nightmare may give more XP, most people won’t have the right champ or gear levels to allow a solo farm, or will take longer – running an 8s 12-3 Brutal is a fairly good compromise.

Not much beats Skullcrown as farmer, 6 seconds in Brutal 12:3 and 19 seconds in Nightmare 12:6.

seems the advice on the budget farmer speeds is wrong. at least to get a 2-1 tempo for Brutal 12-3, you need 202/203 speed (highest enemy speed is 101).

I just want to point out, if you’re fairly new and still trying to build your first 60, don’t even worry about trying to speed farm 12-3 in 6 sec (or 12 or 20). You need to at least build up your first 60, before you can really do some good 12-3 brutal farming. Stick to 12-3 Hard until you get to 6* 60. I spent hours when I first started getting very frustrated that I couldn’t run Ronda in 12-3 brutal solo at level 50 with good gear… because nobody mentioned you need lvl 60…

The Easiest campaign farmer to get and build is Saurus (Uncommon Lizardman).
You book him from Dups and he can do 12-3 100% in 7s with the right gear.
Gear requirements are not that high, mine had green 4-5* gear for months.

I might try this, sounds like an easy way to bulk up a cheap farmer…. what gear though? and what point did you switch him from the farmee to the farmer, lol..
