2-FOR-1 Legendaries! Sacred Shard Event!
Plarium has announced that the 2-for-1 Double Event is back again! This time it’ll be Sacred Shards! By now you should how this works, but if you don’t it’s nice and simple – Pull one legendary from a Sacred Shard, get another completely free!

Hey y’all!
On Tuesday, September 20th, we’re planning to launch Extra Legendary event for Sacred Shards
You’re already familiar with the mechanics, if you summon a Legendary Champion from a Sacred Shard during this event, you’ll get a different, extra one from that same Shard. It works only once per user per event.
You won’t be charged Silver for the Extra Summon. Although, keep in mind, the Extra Champion won’t be counted towards quests, Events, or Tournaments.
Should you pull for this event?
Well, first of all – we have JUST had a x2 Sacred Shard event, so the likelihood is many people will not have Sacred Shards readily available for this, unless you are incredibly well disciplined with your shards and only use what you need to, to secure Fusion Events.
In terms of actually getting Legendaries, this event is fantastic and arguably better than x2 Sacred, as you only have to hit the 6% chance ONCE to get yourself 2 legendaries, and of course you may be lucky and get a double on your very first shard! (Share your luck please!)
The other thing people save for, and may be worth baring in mind, is Guaranteed Legendary Events, these typically require 15 Sacred Shards and can consist of some VERY top tier Champions, and are becoming more and more regular.
Events like this unfortunately are often considered Bait, as they are outside of any events, and a great way to force people to open their shards they’d otherwise need to complete fusions or other summon events.
Will you be going for this double-legendary event, or will you be saving your shards for the 2x coming in 2 weeks time, which may line up with a fusion event?
2x are better for a player with average luck.
just pulled a sacred and got nothing, i doubt i would have any better luck in this event
The expected return on a 2-for-1 event is slightly lower than in a 2x event. Yes, there is a chance you could get 2 on your first pull, and if you only have 1 shard the expected return is the same, but as you have more and more the EV gets increasingly disadvantaged. Combine that with it not being during an event, (and not providing points if it were), and it starts looking like bait (bad bait considering the timing).
There is no circumstance where this is better offer than a 2x.
Worst event to have on sacred(as bad as 10x)
But when that event happens on ancient … its another story …
Rather keep sacred for 2x or summon rush for easy pts that a half % more chance to get something or something extra !
ITS WORSE ON ANCIENTS!!! On those you have worse odds of epics! And 10x is worse than this, as it gives you half the odds of a leggo with no upsides exept for a ridicoulusly low chance of getting hte champ you want. There are 2 good shard events, guaranteed events and 2x.
for sacred, the only time this is worth doing is if your mercy counter is very high. Otherwise probably better to save for 2x events or during fusion events or guaranteed champ. the odds are not too bad if you decide to pull.
on the other hand, it is TERRIBLE event for ancients shards. as you only get the double lego, but you don’t get the 2x epic chance, so you will get lots of rares and the mercy counter rises a lot slower on ancients.

Well, I got a CB shard, and got Altan and Elinaril. Altan isn’t too good, and I already have Seer and Kymar, so it will take a while (or two Kalvalaxes) until Elinaril is useful. And I’m done with High Elves and Barbs FW. Not the best pulls, but really fun champions at least.
with 6% of getting 2 legendaries, for me unlucky boy, it means that I have to test 16 shards. Too expensive for me
