2 for 1 Ancient Shard Event! Raid Shadow Legends
Plarium has just announced a 2 for 1 Ancient Shard Event that will trigger an Extra Legendary if you are lucky enough to pull one over the next couple of days!
Given the fact that a Fusion has just come to an end, there is a chance that players are limited on shards, but the biggest warning we can give you, is typically events like this are used as bait to make people pull their shards ahead of a bigger event in the not-so-distant future.
We’ve heard lots of rumours about a guaranteed Champion coming very soon for Ancient Shards, this may well be the bait before that event so be careful!

On Tuesday, April 16th, we’re planning to launch Extra Legendary event for Ancient Shards
You’re already familiar with the mechanics, if you summon a Legendary Champion from an Ancient Shard during this event, you’ll get a different, extra one from that same Shard. It works only once per user per event.
You won’t be charged Silver for the Extra Summon. Although, keep in mind, the Extra Champion won’t be counted towards Quests, Events, or Tournaments.
Should you be pulling shards?
As we mentioned at the start of this article; it is very likely that this event is bait to get you to pull any remaining ancient shards you may have after the end of the recent Fusion, however, if you are close to pity on Ancient Shards; this could be a great event for you!
Of course, anybody can get lucky and get a double-legendary from a single shard on this event, but the likelihood is VERY low unless you are close to the pity system kicking in, without that, there is only a 0.5% chance to actually get a legendary because there are no boosted rates, so you could go as much as 220 ancient shards before you see the double-gold!
One other thing that’s worth baring in mind, is that we already know that the Vault Keeper Wixwell Fusion will begin on the 9th of May; so saving your resources and shards up from now isn’t necessarily a bad idea as we have no idea how hard the fusion will be, given the fact that Wixwell is likely to be an INCREDIBLY strong Champion.

Nope, every time I draw from an event like this I never get the legendary, and I always regret it when fusion events come around and I don’t have enough shards to do three summons events in two weeks. I am holding out
