Vault Keeper Wixwell – All Skills Announced

The full skills for Vault Keeper Wixwell have been officially announced, allowing us to preview all of the available options we can vote on, so we can now get a slight glimpse into the 3 different options that the Fusion could be, whether that be a Tank, a Damage Dealer or a Support!

It appears that the Tank variant will be INCREDIBLY strong, and the Support could well be a very viable Solo-farmer!

In this article, we are going to break down all of the individual skill options for Vault Keeper Wixwell!

Let’s get into it!

A1 Abilities: Vote Opens April 18th

Vault Keeper Wixwell A1

So, looking at these skills, we will start with the Damage Focus option, a double hitting A1 with a 25% chance to grant an extra turn; books in this skill will likely increase the Extra Turn chance, or possibly just increase the damage potential.

It’s likely that this skill will hit relatively hard due to the way his passive skill works (covered in the Passive section of this article!)

Next up we’ve got the Defense Focus skill, an incredibly powerful control option with a double-hitting Provoke, each hit with a 40% chance to place Provoke for 1 turn, however, against bosses this is an 80% chance on each hit, likely upgraded via skill upgrades! This makes it an incredibly strong option for Hydra Clan Boss AND The Doom Tower Boss, Borgoth the Scarab King.

Finally, the Support Focus option is a double-hitting Poison Skill, with each chance having a base chance of 50% to apply a 15%(we assume this is a typo and it is actually a 5%!) Poison for 2 turns – also a great skill, that perfectly compliments the rest of the Support Focus skillset.

A2 Abilities: Vote Opens April 15th

Next up we’ve got the A2 Skills for Vault Keeper Wixwell, and this is truly where the Defense Focus option begins to stand out above the rest.

While the Damage and Support focus options are by no means bad, Defense Focus just brings so much!

First, we’ll look at the Damage Focus, an AOE attack that self-buffs 50% [Increase ATK] before attacking, with the damage from the skill increasing by 5% for each buff on the target, or alternatively ignoring 25% of the target’s DEF if no buffs are active – this skill will likely hit incredibly hard, however, without multiplier information, we just can’t guarantee that!

The Support Focus ties in perfectly with the A1 ability for Support that applies Poison debuffs, with an AOE attack that places a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns, followed by instantly activating any [Poison] debuffs on all enemies, and healing all allies by 20% of THIS Champions MAX HP!

Poison activation skills are incredibly powerful, especially if you’re using them in a team that is capable of pushing out large amounts of Poison debuffs!

Finally, the Defense Focus skill; an AOE attack that has a 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns, whilst also extending all ally buffs by 1 turn, but that’s not all – after extending the buffs, this skill will then increase the value of all [Shield] buffs on all allies, with the shield being increased more for each buff that is extended! – This ties perfectly into the A3 skill, which we announced in yesterday’s article dedicated to the A3 Skill Voting!

A3 Abilities: Vote Opens April 11th

The vote for the A3 Skill is active today, having started yesterday.

The Damage focus is a simple Single Target attack that ignores [Stone Skin] buffs, whilst also granting 50% Turn Meter to the Champion if it kills an enemy – once again, this likely hits VERY hard, however, unless we have information on the multipliers, that is just a guess!

The Defensive Skill places a brand new buff on a target ally, which we detail in the article linked below, followed by a 60% [Increase DEF] and a DEF Based [Shield] buff on all allies – this could be an INCREDIBLY strong shield, think Valkyrie – which now we have the information on the A2 Skills, the idea of extending this shield is rather exciting!

Lastly, we have the Support Focus skill, a full-team Revive ability that brings any fallen allies back with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter, whilst also placing a 5% [Poison] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns for each ally that is revived, this gives the potential of running 4 very squishy allies or even food alongside the Champion to enable an incredibly powerful AOE poison machine capable of soloing dungeons like Ice Golem and Dragon!

Passive Abilities: Vote Opens April 23rd

Vault Keeper Wixwell Passive

Last up in the votes we have the Passive Skills for Vault Keeper Wixwell!

The Damage Focus works as a cheat-death, preventing Wixwell from dying when hit with a fatal hit, he will then counter-attack with his A1 Skill, and this is where it gets interesting – IF he kills the attacker, he will fully heal; if not, he will die! This relies on the A1 skill having very good multipliers to be able to guarantee the kill on the attacking champion!

Next up is the Defense Focus Passive, at the start of each round he will place a Counterattack buff on himself for 1 turn which cannot be removed, he will then place a standard Counterattack buff on himself at the end of his turn; the way this skill is worded the second version of Counterattack can likely be removed – given how strong Wixwells Defensive skill A1 is, could lead to a large amount of provokes going out on the enemies!

Finally, the Support Focus passive, which makes the whole support kit incredibly cool, Allies deal 5% more damage for each [Poison] debuff on the target, stacking up to 30% increased damage – due to the fact that a Support Wixwell has the potential of placing a large number of debuffs, this could be a very cool way of boosting your entire team’s damage!

Its honestly lame that they dont change the next pair of skills based of the previous choice, if the first skill that is going to be picked is defence the next options should all be defence based.

Woohoo, A1 Damage focus with rest skills with Defense Focus can lead to more frequent shield value increase… This can be quite big, but All skills on Defense focus can be quite interesting too.

But if they would have done that, you would know the voted skills right now.
