Today, we’ve started a new account to experience the life of a new player as they progress through the game with Deliana as a starter champion, along this journey we’ll be able to experience what steps should be taken differently to a normal starter account with the access to a legendary so early on.

We’ll be updating the website as we progress, at key points that we feel necessary or if not, weekly updates. The next update will come in 7 days when Deliana is acquired since the first 7 days will be straightforward, farming to get our first level 60 which will be Kael

The reason for us doing this is with Deliana’s release, there has been a huge influx of players starting the game and having fresh guidance and perspective is something that can and will help many people move through their progression.

Let’s start by taking a look at Deliana to get a feel of what we could be in for

Deliana is a classic support-based champion but with a few tricks up her sleeve. She brings an AOE A1 with 2 turn Leech on a reasonably high chance which is perfect as a stun set healer for your early progression teams. The unique aspects of her kit revolve around her A3 and A2. You apply her A3 as an AOE effect which will apply Block Buffs on each enemy for 2 turns. Block buffs is incredibly valuable against enemy support champions such as Duchess Lilitu or Siphi the Lost Bride and also in Hydra Clan Boss. In addition, she heals your allies for 5% of their MAX HP for each block buffs that gets placed. This would be quite significant in places like Spider for early game accounts. She can then attack a single enemy with her A2 and place Decrease Resistance. This is then spread to all enemies if the target attacked has block buffs. Quite a powerful pairing for late-to-end game content where stats become quite high.

With two AOE abilities including one on her A1 basic skill, she could be a great candidate for a stun set build or other control set builds.

Finally, she has a unique passive that increases her Accuracy by 2 for every 1000 HP her build has. This will equate to around 150-200 extra accuracy depending on the quality of your gear. She has an active effect which will apply Strengthen to all allies when she drops below 50% HP to all allies which could be interesting when paired with a Kyoku or Seeker in Arena. This can be a strong option for a go 2nd team in arena if you cannot make speed teams.

So, in terms of damage, Deliana can provide you with some in the early stages of the game, but nothing extraordinary, she will be best used as a supporting role in your teams, ideally in a stun set to help control the enemies passively.

So we’ll leave it here for this update, we’d love to hear from others in a similar position as we progress through this account!

I aint new , nor old , 48 days in now , and i’ve been using deliana in HP % rolls on relentless and perception .
I didnt have any decent stun set to give her , but i’ve loved how relentless acts when it lets her use all 3 abilities on the same “turn” !!

Since she was my 1st legendary , she also received books , no regret there , since i’ve been using her everywhere including arenas!

48 days is ”new”. It isn’t very new, but still new. As long as she has at least 170 speed and enough accuracy, running her in relentless is a decent set. I personally would not book her, but she does get decent value from books. For me shes not very useful, but she is going to help me with FW control and Hydra. Very decent champion, S1mple was still probably better early game, but she is better mid-late game. Nowhere near Ninja though.

I think the all battles aura (33% HP) should be mentioned as well. Definitely strong for a new account, talking about staying alive.

If you are like 14 days into the game and with a 6 star Kael already. Would you recommend buying her the masterys with 800 gems or save them for another champion like the Magnarr from the recent champion training event?

Hi guys. I am just starting my second week playing the game. I have managed to get my Elhain up to level 60 (I didn’t know that Kael was widely accepted as the best starter), as well as a Maneater, Sinesha, Diabolist, and Warmaiden up to level 50. I also have a Ultimate Galek waiting for a good attack up champion to pair him with. But beyond that I don’t have much of anything. Obviously I don’t have any great pieces of gear yet. I have not put any resources into my Deliana yet beyond leveling her up to 50. What should my overall next goal be for progressing my account in a meaningful way? Invest in Deliana or a different champion? If Deliana, what armor sets should I look for?
Thanks in advance for the help.

BTW, I also have 7 legendary skill books waiting to be used. Should they go towards Deliana, or wait until I eventually get something better?

Is there a youtube video account of this progression with Deliana, similar to Hades F2P series? I ask because his F2P stuff is an absolute goldmine for a new player like me (30ish days in, returning for login legendary after rage quitting years ago).
Really interested in seeing the updates and guides on specifically how to optimize a new account with Deliana as part of the calculation. Thanks for all the hard work and content, gents!

it has been more than 7 days? is there an update on if Deliana is better as a start champ than the other champs? does she move in front of a book able Warmaiden as a number 2 60?

Wondering this as well…REALLY interested in how Deliana affects the very early game, and the lads at HH gaming normally come through on this type of stuff.

Well…this information would have been pretty helpful for me (new player, less than 30 days, and Deliana on my account). But apparently they have bigger fish to fry…too bad.
