Mezomel Luperfang Overview

Mezomel was a hard worker living in the Kingdom of Yakai, until being chased into the forest by her friend, leading her into a den full of wolves. Shrouded by the mists of moonlight, she defended herself by killing a member of the pack, and as the old Shadowkin myths would say… she was struck by the Skinwalker curse!! Mezomel Luperfang was released in the first batch of Mythical Champions, residing from the Skinwalkers Faction.

Base Form

As a mythical champion, Mezomel is infused with the powers of two metamorph forms, primarily focused around inflicted damage on your foe. In her base form, she can place a 50% Increase Attack, a 30% Increase Critical Rate, and a 30% Increase Critical damage buff on this champion, followed by granting an extra turn. The 3 turn duration of these buffs is vital if you desire to switch forms without them wearing off. Leading in to Scarlet Crescent [A2], she ignores many conditions whilst placing a Block Revive when killing enemies with this skill. Although this is extremely powerful to demolish single targets in the Arena under protection, its worth noting she doesn’t Ignore Defence, therefore focusing on sets such as Savage & Lethal, coinciding with masteries such as Helmsmasher can really optimise its value. Last but not least, she has a default skill to apply Decrease Defence on a target, a passive to self heal, followed by placing a Revive On Death buff on herself whenever she kills an enemy!

Alternate Form

As she embraces the beast, she forms herself into an AOE monster! Opening with the Life Shredder [A2], she attacks all enemies 2 times, followed by placing a True Fear on them whilst Ignoring Unkillable & Block Damage buffs. Not only can this be devastating in Arena, but also for The Doom Tower to crowd control waves, and can be a really strong counter against Leorius, Skullcrown & Helicath [As examples]. The default skill works very similar to the A2, as she places extra AOE attacks on enemies under True Fear, whilst also not triggering the Counter Attacks your enemies may have active. What king of Metamorph would this be without more damage? Well her passive increases her Attack & Crit Damage by 20%, further adding to the potential of your nukes! Last but not least, with book values she can Ignore 20% of enemy RES to alleviate intensive accuracy stats in your builds.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
