Hizuki Mari Animus Overview

Hizuki Mari is a control-focused SR Disorder champion who excels in disrupting enemy teams, applying turn denial, and shutting down healing-based comps, particularly in PvP. Her unique passive aura affects all units on the battlefield—granting [ATK ↑] to everyone while simultaneously applying a healing penalty and preventing additional ATK buffs from being applied.

Her Skill 1 – Shadow Return is a single-target attack with a chance to apply [Turn Meter -], giving her useful soft control and the ability to delay enemy ultimates or key skills. This alone makes her a handy tech option in both PvE and PvP scenarios.

Where she truly shines, though, is her Skill 2 – Dual Sphere, a passive battlefield aura that globally increases ATK but reduces all healing received and locks out ATK ↑ buffs. This can turn enemy healers into dead weight while still boosting your own team’s damage output. The downside of the healing penalty is shared by both teams, but in well-coordinated PvP setups, this tradeoff heavily favors Mari’s side.

Her Ultimate – Burst Temari is a 2-hit AoE attack that applies [Petrify] and [RES ↓]. This dual-layered crowd control stuns enemies while simultaneously setting them up for follow-up debuffs or DoT strategies. The [RES ↓] effect ensures subsequent debuffs land more reliably, and the [Petrify] buys your team precious breathing room.

Thanks to her kit’s balance of damage utility, debuff setup, and enemy healing denial, Hizuki Mari is a standout pick for PvP environments where speed control and sustain suppression are paramount. She can also function in PvE as a secondary support in debuff-heavy teams, although her full value shines brightest in arena-style content.

Best used in:

  • Anti-healer PvP comps
  • Debuff-centric PvE teams (especially those using [Poison] or [Burn])
  • Compositions needing crowd control and turn meter delay

If you’re struggling against high-sustain enemy teams or need a powerful lockdown tool that can tilt momentum in your favor, Hizuki Mari is a reliable and disruptive asset worth building into your roster.
