Necrosis Chaos Shadow Guide – Dragonheir: Silent Gods

The Necrosis Chaos Shadow Boss becomes active during Month 2 of Dragonheir: Silent Gods Season 3 as part of the month-long event to acquire the legendary Hero, Aladiah.

The Boss will receive 100% more damage from Fire sources, so utilizing a team based on this is going to be key to achieving the maximum damage thresholds.

Ability Breakdown:

SKILL 1:

Lost Sword:

The Monster gains a random buff for 10.0s, and deals Necrotic Damage to the target.
The random buff is selected from the following: 15% Attack Up, Defense Up I, 30% Damage Up, Damage Reduction.

SKILL 2:

Wrath of Revenge:

Deals Necrotic Damage to all enemies. When the monster has one or more buffs, the damage dealt by this skill ignores the target’s shield, Immortality and Invincibility.

PASSIVE SKILL 1:

When the monster has one or more buffs, decreases the damage they take by 20%.

PASSIVE SKILL 2:

Immune to all Control Effects

PASSIVE SKILL 3:

The hero gains stackable Total Damage Bonus permanently each time they release their ultimate skill. (Increases damage dealt by 200% for every stack. This effect is unstoppable, undispellable and permanent).

How to Beat the Boss:

The Necrosis Chaos Shadow is very similar to the boss we encounter in Grave of Curse, without those incredibly annoying shields for us to worry about.

The biggest concern in this fight that is going to hamper your damage will be your ability to remove the buffs from the boss, as even one buff on the boss is a 20% Damage Reduction, but it also makes the boss’s ultimate skill more lethal as it will ignore any shield buffs.

So, to tackle this Necrosis Chaos Shadow we need several things, A good amount of support, a way of managing the boss buffs, and damage!

Thankfully, Fire and Radiance are absolutely riddled with options for all of the supporting roles, including buff management, while also having plenty of strong damage options including, some lethal Rare Heroes!

MAIN THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • ATK Penalty
  • Plenty of Support and Healing
  • Buff Removal/Prohibition
  • Damage!

Recommended Teams:

Picking and choosing your team is subjective to every account, however, we’re going to cover a range of different options you could consider bringing into this fight, as well as highlighting in our opinion; the best options.

When it comes to picking who you are going to use, you are really spoilt for choice with supports from Radiance and Fire Elements, but the most important thing firstly is who you are going to have to deal with the buffs on the boss to prevent the boss ignoring shields and also taking less damage but thankfully from Fire Element especially you’ve got plenty to pick from!

  • Fihrah – As an Epic option, Fihrah is a great option to handle the bosses’ buffs as his Ultimate Skill will remove two, whilst his battle skill also places Buff Prohibition.
  • Liko – As a free hero earned from Season 1’s Pillar of Trials, Liko is a great option for this encounter, by timing her Ultimate Skill well, it will remove 1 buff and then place Buff Prohibition with a 100% chance, whilst also bringing some support on her battle skill.
  • Dane – Dane is a great option because of the fact he also brings ATK Penalty to your team, which you’re otherwise lacking if you use heroes like Garius and/or Ardreth as your support.
  • Victor – Victor is probably the best option for this, however as a Legendary is more expensive to invest in due to the skill upgrades, but, if you have invested in Victor or are happy to do so, his battle skill removes ALL buffs and places a Buff Prohibition, once booked this will happen every 8 seconds, allowing for 2 guaranteed uses PER boss rotation. Finally, his ultimate skill (17-second recharge with upgrades) will allow you to swap any buffs on the target with debuffs instead, this can be timed to happen just before the boss’s ultimate skill to prevent any buffs from slipping through!)

In terms of Damage options, Wild will be the absolute favourite here due to the boss being a heavy single-target encounter, however, if you are limited on Wild options but do have a few Burn Heroes, they can also do the job for you, as demonstrated in the video below!

Our ideal line-up in this fight would be 1 Tank/Healer (The perfect heroes for this would be Garius or Acilia as they can individually perform both roles), 1 Hero dealing with the boss buffs, and three damage dealers from either Wild or Burn.

Damage Dealers (Burn)
