Best Banner Lord Faction Champions

Part of the Telerian League, the Banner Lords are the classic medieval-themed knights of Raid: Shadow Legends. Here are the best Bannerlord Faction Champions to keep an eye out for. Any one of these will be a valuable asset to your collection!

In addition to their general usefulness across most game content, you’ll need Bannerlord Faction Champions like these to take on their Faction Crypt in Faction Wars to earn rewards. Check our Faction War Tier List below for more Bannerlord Champions well-suited to Crypt raiding.

Androc

Androc the Glorious is a powerhouse, able to deal massive damage when transformed and bolster allies in his standard form. His standard A3 Skill places [Strengthen] and [Continuous Heal] Buffs on your team, for example. When transformed, his A3 hits all enemies, removes their Buffs, and deals pure Max HP damage.

Marichka

Marichka lives up to her name, and will make your team so unbreakable it’ll put David Dunn to shame. She excels at support and has a top-tier Passive which revives all allies if she dies. Her A1 Skill will always trigger an Ally Attack, and Marichka can also restore decreased Max HP while cleansing all allies’ Debuffs!

Taras

Taras the Fierce, a legendary Banner Lord, partners well with Marichka to wreak havoc on enemies (but he’s just as dangerous alone). His A2 Skill can [Stun] opponents for two turns and deals double damage to high ATK enemies, while his A3 Skill increases damage based on the number of Buffs on his team.

Acelin

Acelin is the Banner Lord Unity Champion, meaning his Unity bonuses increase the more Banner Lords you have in your team. This makes him an obvious choice for Faction Wars, but his immense [Shield] Skills make him indispensable in any prolonged fights where survivability is key.

Baron

Baron is a DPS monster with his “Skypiercer” A3 Skill, capable of annihilating enemies fast as it ignores [Shield], [Block Damage] Buffs, and 50% of the target’s DEF. Also of note is his A2 Skill, which guarantees a 60% [Decrease DEF] Debuff on the target, making him and your whole team hit even harder.

Kaja

Kaja the Wry

Kaja the Wry has more than just cutting remarks up her sleeves. Her A2 and A3 Skills are especially useful, with her A2 providing a full team revive with [Increase C.DMG] and [Increase C.Rate] boosts. Her A3 brings excellent utility with a Debuff cleanse and Turn Meter boost too. Pair her with Timit the Fool for additional tomfoolery.

Rathalos

Rathalos Blademaster is a beast for most content areas in Raid. His powerful single target A1 can [Decrease DEF], and his excellent A3 attacks all enemies while Buffing Rathalos with [Increase SPD] and [Increase C.DMG]. His A2 is a true Boss destroyer too, ignoring 100% of any Boss’s DEF.

Stag Knight

Stag Knight is a debuffing expert, with his A2 Skill applying both [Decrease DEF] and [Decrease ATK] Debuffs to all enemies. His A1 can also apply [Decrease SPD] and hits twice for good measure. This makes him superb at bumping up your team’s damage against Dungeon enemy waves and Dungeon Bosses.

Staltus

Staltus Dragonbane is, as you might expect, pretty good against Dragon Bosses. His Passive enables him to reflect any [Poison] or [Weaken] or [Decrease DEF] Debuff right back at his attacker (which makes Dragon wince), while his A1 Skill is great for depleting the enemy Turn Meter provided you keep them Debuffed.

Hellmut

Archmage Hellmut provides some Turn Meter control magic thanks to his A1 and A2 Skills, which can increase his own Turn Meter and decrease the enemies respectively. His A3 provides [Increase C.RATE], [Increase DMG], and [Increase SPD] to your team. His final trick is his Passive, which makes him immune to Turn Meter depletion.
