How Purchases Work in Closed Beta

With Etheria: Restart’s final closed beta on the horizon, players have a unique chance to dive into the full gameplay experience with all payment features active. However, since this is a paid, data-wiped test, it’s crucial to understand exactly how purchases and rebates work before you spend.

Here’s a breakdown of all the official rules and refund mechanics so you can test smart and prep for launch.

This is a closed beta with a full data wipe, meaning:

• No game progress (including character data, currency, or items) will transfer to the full release.
• However, all real-money purchases made during the beta will be refunded in the form of Hydra Vouchers once the game launches.

Here’s how the rebate system works:

1. Only paid items are eligible. Free currency, rewards, and gifted items do not count.
2. Rebates are sent to the first character you create on any server after launch.
3. Refunds are account-bound. If you refund any purchase during the beta, that purchase will be excluded from your rebate calculation.
4. Some regions (e.g., Japan, South Korea, China, etc.) will operate on separate servers. Rebates cannot be claimed in these regions.
5. If you spend across multiple servers under one account, your spending will be added together for rebate calculation.

Hydra Vouchers are the in-game refund currency, used to purchase all premium items (crystals, passes, bundles, etc.) after launch. You’ll receive them at a higher rate based on how much you spend:

Example: If you spend $99.99, you get 200% Hydra Vouchers returned (2x the value).

Notes:

• Refunds are based on USD prices, regardless of local currency or exchange rate.
• Discounted items are refunded at their original (non-discounted) value.

All Monthly Supply Card purchases count toward cumulative spending and receive refunds, but with limits:

• 2 or fewer cards: You’ll receive one Monthly Supply Voucher per card.
• 3+ cards: You’ll receive a maximum of 2 Monthly Supply Vouchers total.
• Each voucher unlocks 30-day benefits upon activation after launch.

Buying passes also earns bonus vouchers:

1. Premium Pass Purchase → 1x Premium Exchange Voucher
2. Ultimate Pass Purchase → 1x Ultimate Exchange Voucher
3. Upgrade from Premium to Ultimate → 1x Ultimate Exchange Voucher

These vouchers unlock the respective Hyperlink Pass tier once the game launches.

Spend any amount during the beta and receive:

• Chaku Ring Outfit – Game Village: Red Devil (delivered at launch)

1. Log into the same X.D. account used during the beta.
2. Create your first character on any server.
3. Access your in-game mailbox and claim your rebates.
4. Claim within 14 days of launch—unclaimed rewards will expire!
