Fire Chaos Shadow Guide – Dragonheir: Silent Gods

The Fire Chaos Shadow Boss becomes active during Month 2 of Dragonheir: Silent Gods Season 3 as part of the month-long event to acquire the legendary Hero, Aladiah.

The Boss will receive 100% more damage from Poison sources, so utilizing a team based on this is going to be key to achieving the maximum damage thresholds – forewarning however, this is the HARDEST of the 6 bosses!

Ability Breakdown:

BATTLE SKILL:

Firestorm:

Deals Fire Damage to all enemies, and gains 1 stack of Damage Reduction for 10.0s.

ULTIMATE SKILL:

Phantom Storm:

Soars to the sky and calls young dragons for assistance. After 15.0s, it returns to deal Fire Damage to all enemies and sacrifices the young dragons. Each sacrificed young dragon grants it 1 stack of Damage Reduction for 15.0s.

PASSIVE SKILL 1:

For each stack of buff the monster has, increases its damage dealt by 10%.

PASSIVE SKILL 2:

Immune to all Control Effects

PASSIVE SKILL 3:

The hero gains stackable Total Damage Bonus permanently each time they release their ultimate skill. (Increases damage dealt by 200% for every stack. This effect is unstoppable, undispellable and permanent).

How to beat the boss:

When it comes to dealing with this fight, I will be openly honest that it is not by any stretch easy, it is the hardest of the 6 Continental Bosses, and for those without the Corrosion Exclusive, Rook – well, it’s even harder.

This boss becomes incredibly annoying due to the fact that you need to handle enough AOE Damage to quickly kill off the Dragonlings that spawn, whilst also maintaining a large amount of Single-Target Damage to deal with the boss.

Position-wise, you cannot avoid the damage you’re facing, so using a Hero like Frurbath can aid you in extra healing whilst stacking your entire team around him, topped with a healer like Heksandra, or even Vicuc; however, his healing is not the greatest!

Finally, when it comes to being able to deal enough damage to this boss, there are several methods you could use, depending on what you have available in your roster:

  • Corrosion – This will likely rely on the Legendary Hero, Whisk, paired with Epic Hero, Dargo and a third spot could be somebody like Sabrina, who is capable of out-damaging both of the aforementioned as a rare hero!
  • Sigrid – we all know that Sigrid is capable of dealing incredibly strong burst AOE Damage, she will be able to single-handedly control the dragonlings that spawn, but you will need somebody to provide AOE debuffs to enable her, in an ideal world this would be your tank to allow for an extra DPS spot in your team, rather than relying on one of those to debuff for you – this would allow for 2 damage dealers who are able to handle the single-target boss damage.
  • Buff Stripping – This is probably the least ideal method for this fight, because you will lose a lot of time, but if you are in a tough situation you can ignore the Dragonlings and remove the Damage Reduction Buffs that the boss gains by them still being alive, however as mentioned, you will lose 15 seconds for every 18 seconds of uptime on the boss by ignoring the Dragonlings, it’s likely that this method really won’t prevail.

Key things to remember:

  • AOE Damage for Dragonlings
  • Single Target Damage for Boss
  • AOE Healing
  • ATK Penalty

Recommended Teams:

Picking and choosing your team is subjective to every account, however, we’re going to cover a range of different options you could consider bringing into this fight, as well as highlighting in our opinion; the best options.

There are several strong Tank options for this encounter, however there is a limited amount of options for Healers, unfortunately.

An insane amount of healing in this fight isn’t required as long as you have ATK Penalty and avoid the boss having an abundance of buffs, however, the boss only gains the 10% damage increase for each stack of buff active.

When it comes to damage, as mentioned above, Corrosion will be the go-to, followed likely by a Sigrid-based team, unfortunately, Poison is very weak here as you will not be able to maintain a high stack of poison because when the boss flys away, they will drop – this removes the ability to utilise heroes such as Lothair to deal huge damage.
