Fusion Guide: Roric Wyrmbane
Roric Wyrmbane is a Spirit Affinity Barbarian Legendary. He’s this month’s Fragment Summon event, starting today (06/09/2021).
Overall Roric seems to be a strong single target damage dealer with an incredibly strong base attack (9th highest in the entire game!), with good turn meter control alongside AOE Stun control. He could be very useful vs the new Doom Tower boss, Astranyx.

Is Roric Wyrmbane worth going for?
We always recommend going for every Fusion, but Roric is incredibly strong as a Single target nuker, with a unique synergy with Counter attacks. He also brings Turn Meter Control AND AoE Crowd Control, which is very useful for any account.
Roric will be especially useful for newer players due to how available he is.
As this is a Fragment Fusion, there are 120 available fragments WITHOUT winning any tournaments, so pick and choose what events suit you best as you can skip up to 20 fragments and still achieve the fusion!

Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments
Day 1:
Dungeon Divers Event – 5 fragments – 2500 points
Spider Tournament – 5 Fragments – 1800 points
For this event, it’s time to dive into the dungeons, which will line up nicely with CvC along with the recent boost in points from dungeons – you’ll be able to double dip the rewards from this event while helping your clan obtain milestone rewards at the same time! 2,500 points is a rather realistic amount to obtain.
This will also sync with the Spider Tournament running alongside it, to obtain the fragments for Spider tournament you will need 1,800 points (roughly 1800 energy) based on the worst possible rewards from Spider 20 this will take 113 runs.
Day 2
New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event 1 – 5 Fragments – 2625 points
For todays Artifact event, you will need to level up your artifacts, to reach 2625 points it will take 8x 6* items to level 16, so this will take a fair chunk of silver.
This is a really good opportunity to do a good old gear clear-out, roll things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, sell things that you won’t want to keep.
Day 4:
New Events:
Champion Training Tournament – 10 Fragments – 2125/4200 points.
Getting points in a Champion Training Tournament is very similar to Champion Training Events, however, you can also gain points for ascending your Champions. Reaching 4,200 points in 3 days might be difficult for some, depending on how much food you have saved up, but the 2,125 points should be manageable – remember you can skip up to 20 fragments from the events and still manage the fusion.
Day 5:
New Events:
Summon Rush – 20 Fragments – 540/1,750/3,500 points
Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 330 points
The Summon Rush as always, will be a game of how many shards do you have? To earn the fragments you will need to accumulate 3,500 points, this lines up with the x10 Summon Event for Champions that will help with Bommal in Doom Tower.
The point requirement for this is rather high, but remember you CAN miss out on 20 points during the Fragment Event without missing out on Roric Wyrmbane.
For Arena, as always use all of your daily refills, this should not take a substantial amount of effort given the current situation in Classic arena, with the return of the infamous bots. So make the most of it, farm your great hall medals!
Day 6:
New Events:
Dragon Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 points
To complete this Dragon event, you will need to run roughly 140 Dragon 20 runs, based on the lowest potential drop of 5* Rare gear – This will vary and be significantly lower if you are lucky.
Day 7:
New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 5 Fragments – 1850 points
Todays Dungeon Divers is a nice and easy requirement, which will link into the Dragon Tournament if you’ve not already completed that, giving you a great chance to double-dip for some rewards.
1,850 points should be more than manageable for anybody in the 3 day timeframe by realistically just playing the game.
Day 8:
New Events:
Fire Knight Tournament – 5 Fragments – 1800 points
To complete this Fire Knightevent, you will need to run roughly 113 Fire Knight 20 runs, based on the lowest potential drop of 5* Rare gear – This will vary and be significantly lower if you are lucky.
This is released alongside the new Super Raids system, which you can find more about here.
Day 9:
New Events:
Champion Training Tournaments – 15 Fragments – 2850/10500 points
Artifact Enhancement Event – 5 Fragments – 2625
To complete the event with 2,625 points it will take 8x 6* items to level 16, Which will take a large amount of silver, usually, an event like this will consume anywhere between 10-20 million silver.
This is a really good opportunity to do a good old gear clear-out, roll things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, sell things that you won’t want to keep.
Champion Training Event is a rather high point requirement but we do have 5 days to complete this! Make sure you’re focusing all your energy on the campaign when you can!
Make sure you are also levelling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.
Take this time to level up all of your food and 6 stars some of the champions you’ve wanted to for a while!
Day 11:
New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 10 Fragments – 1500/3600 points
Ice Golem Tournament – 5 Fragments – 1800 points
Dungeon divers will link with the Champion Training event and Ice Golem tournament which is a great opportunity for you to double dip for rewards.
As always in this situation, put your energy into the event you need the most, whether it be Campaign for training or Ice Golem – and it will tick away at your points for Dungeon Divers too.
For Ice Golem, you will need to run a maximum of 113 runs of Stage 20 – this is calculated based on the worst possible rewards (5* Rare gear) so may be significantly lower depending on your luck!
Day 12:
New Events:
Champion Chase Tournament – 15 Fragments – 1150/2500 Points
Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 330 Points
Tips:
1150 points are required for the first 5 fragments and 2500 for the second set of 10.
For this, you will need to pull as many shards as you need. You can also do this with mystery shards for 1 point per shard, if you don’t have other shards to use during the event, but remember – champions from the market and campaign will also count towards these points, which can tie in nicely with Champion Training.
This does line up with Void 2x Event, so good luck on your pulls if you have saved any!
For Arena, as always use all of your daily refills, this should not take a substantial amount of effort given the current state of Arena, So make the most of it, farm your great hall medals!
I love posts like this. It saves me the time to figure it all out myself. Absolutely love the entire site.
i agree. love this site
thanks!
Best thing about this dumb fragment thing is I don’t feel bad about completely ignoring it
Thank you for this guide!!
Thanks for the guide! Keep up the good work HH
Thanks for the guide! I’m only a few months into the game and am a little worried about getting enough points from the summon events. Do we know if either of the summons line up with a 2x event, assuming they keep to the “standard” schedule?
Please, add the end dates of the events and tournaments too. So you could tell which of them overlap.
Thanks for the guide; really, really helpful!
FWIW: You may want to save void shards for the “champion chase” event (rather than the summon rush) because champion chase coincides with a 2x void shard event (according to Ayumilove).
Have fun all!
I do have a suggestion to make this event easier to read. If you put the DAYS list at the top and the champion information at the bottom, I won’t have to scroll down each time :P Anyone else agree?
wish i started following this dude from day 1. i passed on even trying previous fragments cuz i thought i’d never have a chance to get all the frags. Seeing it broken down like this motivates me to go for them, well done and thanks HH!
Got Spider tourney (13 on repeat (for days)), done the arti enhancement. Is it just me or is Dungeon Delve 1 impossible?
Love the site it’s upped my game considerably. can you tell me what happens if you don’t get the full 100 shards? Thanks again for the great work
If you don’t get the 100 shards you cannot summon Roric. Very rarely Plarium have offered a small number of fragments for previous fragment events, so it is in your interest to get as many as you can during this event, even if you can’t get the 100.
am i the only 1 who doesnt understand how to lvl a chicken?
“Level a chicken” = levelling up characters purely for the purpose of using them, much like a chicken, to rank up good characters.
I really hope they make ‘Super Raids’ a permanent thing… completing the FK tournament was amazingly easy that way.
How high do you all recommend levelling food? Right now, I don’t level 2* food, I level 3* food to 12, 4* food to 16, and 5* food to about 20. Any better ideas?
Hi, i dont lvl any 2*, but do lvl 3* and 4* up to about 22 (9 runs of 12-3 so 72ish energy) and 5* up to about 30 (20 runs of 13-3 so 160 energy). Thats for 3 champs at a time all starting from lvl1. If you have a good skullcrown she can bash through a whole round in under 10secs. There are many that can do this, just build them fast. 230ish speed means your lead champ will have 2 goes before the waves even get 1.
are yall leveling up all of your food some levels? what is the reason for that?
Side note: I love that Burangiri has added value now (as Bommal bane). I ranked him up to 6* for this training event to progress further in Doom Tower, and he is such a great looking champ. Nice to have a solid use for him.
I must say fellas , if some big event like this comes do check hellhades , absolutely gem , wish I could hv known about it earlier , as a beginner I was trying to focus on 6 star Kayle , but missed few instructions and made some bad decision which made the Kayle bit slow , so not sure I will play event , but I did and gained some fragments , hope these events will return or can be available on market/bazar/clan shop not sure though , but next event will sure focus , trying Kayle to 6 star will take some days 👍, ty HH , will wait for upcoming lego event
Do they generally bring back the event if we don’t get enough shards the first time?
Event is over and didnt get enough, will they release a way to finish it?
