Power Pairings Progressive Summon Event!

Plarium has just announced a summon event for this week in line with Valentine’s Day, featuring several of Raids Power Pairings, which is a great opportunity to complete some of those game-changing Power Pairings if you are only fortunate to have one of them, alternatively, some of these Champions are incredibly strong as solo-options, without their partner, so bare that in mind when looking at this event.

This Summoning event will come alongside a Non-Personal Reward Clan vs Clan, and will not be a part of the ongoing Fusion Events for Wight Queen Ankora. As always, we have an active Fusion Guide for Ankora being updated every single day that new events start, so check that out if you are pushing for this Fusion.

What are Progressive Summons?

Progressive Summons are a new type of Summoning Event, that was released at the latter end of 2023, which gives us an increased opportunity to get our hands on some of our most wanted Champions in RAID, the way this works is quite simple:

Select a Champion who you would like to receive a boost for (This grants a 15x boost to getting them) – once selected, begin to pull your shards, for every single pull of that rarity, Let’s say for example you have selected a Legendary, each Legendary who is NOT the Champion who you have selected will boost your chance of getting them next time up to 25x boosted rates, which is a huge difference to the 10x Events we used to exclusively get – and whilst these have not replaced 10x Events, they are very frequent so we get lots of opportunities to try and grab those Champions that we are hunting for!

We have a full in-depth breakdown of Progressive Summons and how they work in another article from when Progressive Summons were released, which you can view from the button below.

Choosing your Boosted Champion

Rotos and Siphi

When it comes to picking your Power Pairings Champions from this event, there are so many great options, first of all, every account is different – and as such we don’t know if there’s a specific pairing you are missing, especially as nearly all of the pairs has one previous Fusion in it – as is Valentines Fusion tradition.

Below we will break down who we consider the strongest options from each of the 3 events, and with that information, we hope to aid you in making an informed decision on who you should pursue if you decide to participate in these events.

Event 1: Tuesday, February 13th

There are two couples here who particularly stand out, and they are Venus and Cupidus, and Sicia Flametongue and Cardiel – whilst the latter is not frequently used as a pairing, they are individually very strong Champions, with Sicia being involved in many speed runs for Spider, she is also a great Hydra Damage Dealer, and Cardiel is just fantastic everywhere, literally.

As for Venus and Cupidus, they were adjusted slightly a while ago now, and since then have been a dominant force when partnered together, with Venus providing all of the key debuffs to enable Cupidus, and him being an absolute powerhouse of a damage dealer, whether it be Arena (Offense AND Defense) or Hydra Clan Boss, these two work so well in unison and prove to be great assets for your team.

Event 2: Wednesday, February 14th:

There is one stand out in the particular Progressive Event, and actually – you won’t care for her partnership if you have her, and that is, of course, Yumeko,

Yumeko is undoubtedly one of the BEST Champions in the entire game, with her ability to reset the whole team cooldowns, and also lockout the enemies cooldowns, as well as reflecting debuffs to enemies under Hex, which she brings on her A2 Ability, Yumeko is truly exceptional, and what makes her EVEN better, is the fact that her A3 Skill, can be reset by other Champions reset skills, meaning if you have TWO Yumekos you can constantly recycle their A3 Skill, and as such, the whole team will always have their skills available too – this can be seen often in Hydra Clan Boss at the top level!

Event 3: Thursday, February 15th:

Finally, I’m sure at this point we all know who our recommendations will be here – Oella and Ultan…(They wish!)

Of course, it’s Rotos and Siphi, the OG Power Couple of RAID, these two have been around for what feels like an eternity, and they’ve been in the spotlight the entire time, as two, when combined they are a complete carry for any account in so many areas, but most dominantly in the Arena – If you have one already, then you will want to acquire the other as soon as possible, but when it comes to individual benefits, Siphi is likely going to power your account through the most, with her being one of the best supports in the entire game providing incredibly valuable buffs, healing AND an unresistable Sleep debuff on her A1 to aid you with control when needed.

Should you be summoning?

The decision on whether or not you summon for this Power Pairings event is in your hands, however, we would not be doing our job if we didn’t highlight a few key points going into this:

  1. This set of events is NOT anything to do with the current Fusion for Wight Queen Ankora, you can view our full Fusion Guide to see upcoming events, but there is a Champion Chase Tournament which will take place this upcoming weekend, where you will need to push for her Fragments in order to complete the Fusion.
  2. There is no active Summon Rush, Champion Chase Tournament OR Heroes Path that benefits from you using your shards during this event, the only benefit you will get is the Champions you happen to pull.
  3. This is during a Clan vs Clan Tournament – However, it does NOT feature Personal Rewards, and as such, many Clans use this opportunity to hoard resources ahead of the next Personal Reward Clan vs Clan where they can then push harder to ensure a win.
  4. There is no boosted rates to the shards (2x is not active) meaning you will only have the standard chance to get a Legendary from your shards, rather than increased odds, this means that Ancient Shards and Void Shards will only have a 0.5% chance of yielding a Legendary, whilst Sacreds will have a 6% chance and Primal Shards will have a 1% chance.
