Wight Queen Ankora Overview

Amongst the leaders of the Knight Revenant, none are more feared than the Wight Queen, Ankora. She shares the throne with her parner, Narses, and seeks the eradication of the Gaellean Pact and Tellerian League. Their conquest begins as the February 2024 Fusion Event where Ankora can be acquired via Fragments.

Much of Ankora’s abilities will depend on whether her King Narses is sharing a place in the team. You will need to review her skills very closely depending on if you have chosen Narses in the team. Without him, she brings an All Ally debuff cleanse and a strong All Ally Shield along with a passive that can transfer crowd control debuffs from your damage dealer to her instead. Her revive is powerful considering it brings 75% turn meter and resets the revived target’s cooldowns along with dropping enemy turn meter however it is only single target. Unfortunately, she cannot take the role of debuff cleansing in any speed tuned Clan Boss team as the A1 is likely to cause inconsistent skill usage breaking your teams. This limits her usages however she remains a good support champion for any team if you require a cleanse (such as Agreth or in Dragon).

With Narses, her skill set evolves into a stronger set of abilities. Her A1 will consistently reduce Narses abilities if he has abilities on cooldown or a random ally’s skill. The A2 also brings Strengthen and the Revive includes a 20% un-resistable Turn Meter decrease on enemies and 100% turn meter if she revives Narses. Her Passive also makes her immune to any crowd control effect. This additional features makes the pairing very powerful in Arena, where we believe she is most powerful with her partner.

Her MVP areas will be areas where you are heavily debuffed such as Dragon’s Lair, Agreth in the Doom Tower and can be competent in Hydra Clan Boss (although you may look for champions who bring more with the cleanse such as Elva Autumnborn) but she will not be viable for most Clan Boss scenarios and will not add significant value in end game dungeons or end game teams.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
