What is the Void Keep?

The Void Keep is where you’ll farm the Potions required to Ascend Void Affinity Champions. Ascending provides additional base stats, unlocks the ability to equip Amulets and Banners at the required Ascension Levels, and can improve certain Champion skills, such as unlocking passives. Alongside Void Potions, you’ll also need Arcane Potions to progress through Ascension.

By progressing through the Keep, you’ll earn Lesser, Greater, and Superior Void Potions to support these upgrades. You’ll naturally be introduced to the Void Keep through Progress Missions on your journey towards Arbiter, helping establish the importance of Ascension and farming the different Potion Keeps.

The Void Keep is only available on Sundays, making it important to plan your farming around its weekly opening. If you need Void Potions outside this window, you can spend 300 Gems to unlock the Keep temporarily. However, this is generally best avoided unless you’re in urgent need of Potions, such as when completing a time sensitive Fusion event.

Progressing Through the Void Keep

Your goal should generally be to farm the highest stage you can clear consistently, eventually reaching Stage 20. At this stage, Lesser Potions are removed from the reward pool, allowing you to focus on Greater and Superior Void Potions. If you specifically need Lesser Potions for lower rarity Champions, you can simply drop back to an earlier stage.

With the Void Keep only opening once per week, it’s worth farming enough Potions to cover your upcoming Ascension needs, particularly if you’re preparing to build new Void Champions or complete Fusion requirements.

Understanding The Void Keep’s Skills

Grim Reaper

Grim Reaper attacks all enemies and places two 5% Poison debuffs for 3 turns. These Poisons cannot be resisted, making them a threat if your Champions are unable to prevent or remove them.

Block Debuffs can prevent the Poisons from being applied, while Remove Debuffs can cleanse them before they begin wearing down your team or the boss has an opportunity to activate them through Bane. Champions who provide consistent cleansing, healing, or protection can also help your team survive, particularly if you’re unable to defeat the boss quickly.

Bane

Bane deals damage from all Poison debuffs on your Champions, dealing damage based on their MAX HP. This makes the Poisons from Grim Reaper particularly dangerous, as the boss can trigger their damage immediately rather than waiting for them to activate naturally.

Preventing Poison debuffs through Block Debuffs, or cleansing them before Bane is used, is the most effective way to counter this skill. Strong healing and defensive support can also help your team recover, although keeping Poisons off your Champions should remain the priority.

Almighty Immunity (P)

The Void Guardian is immune to most forms of crowd control, including Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Fear, and Block Active Skills. He’s also immune to HP exchange, HP balancing, and cooldown increasing effects.

However, Decrease SPD and Turn Meter reduction remain effective, allowing you to limit how frequently the boss takes turns and uses his abilities. Combining these effects with Increase SPD and Turn Meter fills for your own team can help you cycle through cleansing, protection, and damage skills faster, potentially defeating the boss before he can place or activate his Poisons.

The Waves & Boss Minions

Managing the Minions

The Void Guardian fights alongside two minions that can make his abilities even more dangerous. The left minion can place Weaken on your Champions, increasing the damage they receive, while the right minion can place Block Buffs, preventing your team from applying important effects such as Block Debuffs. This can leave your Champions vulnerable to the boss’s Poisons and their subsequent activation.

Defeating or crowd controlling the minions can prevent them from using these skills, allowing you to focus on the boss without their interference. Block Debuffs can prevent Weaken and Block Buffs from being applied, while Remove Debuffs can cleanse them if they slip through. Prioritising the right minion is particularly useful if your strategy relies on maintaining Block Debuffs to counter the boss’s Poisons.

Clearing the Waves

Before reaching the Void Guardian, you’ll need to clear two waves of enemies. Bringing enough damage to move through these efficiently can significantly reduce your overall farming time, with effects such as Decrease DEF and Weaken helping your damage dealers eliminate enemies faster.

For faster clears, Seer or Poison Explosion style teams can quickly tear through both waves before moving into the boss encounter. If you’re struggling to survive the waves instead, crowd control effects such as Stun, Freeze, and Provoke can help limit incoming attacks while your team works through them.

Use the Raid Stages Tool to identify which enemies you’ll face on each stage and plan your damage, debuffs, and crowd control accordingly.

Building A Void Keep Team – Key Roles

Debuffers

Decrease DEF and Weaken are valuable for increasing your damage against the Void Guardian, while Decrease ATK can help reduce the damage your team receives. Decrease SPD is also useful for limiting how frequently the boss takes turns and applies or activates his Poisons.

Poison and HP Burn provide additional ways to wear down the boss, with Champions capable of activating these effects dealing immediate ticks of damage without relying on enemy turns.

Block Debuffs & Remove Debuffs

The Void Guardian’s main threat comes from placing two irresistible 5% Poison debuffs on your Champions, which he can then deal damage from them instantly through Bane to deal burst damage. Block Debuffs is one of the strongest counters, preventing these Poisons from being applied in the first place.

Remove Debuffs is equally valuable for cleansing Poisons before they begin wearing down your team or the boss has an opportunity to activate them. These effects can also help manage Weaken and Block Buffs from the minions, making consistent protection and cleansing particularly important for teams that cannot defeat the boss quickly.

Team Protection & Buffs

Block Damage and Unkillable can provide additional protection against the Void Guardian, while Shields, Increase DEF, and Strengthen can help your team survive incoming attacks. However, preventing or removing Poisons remains particularly important.

Healing and Revive can also improve consistency, particularly for teams still progressing through the Keep. Offensive buffs such as Increase ATK can help your damage dealers finish the encounter faster, while Block Debuffs should remain a priority if you’re struggling with the boss’s Poison mechanics.

Speed & Turn Meter Manipulation

The Void Guardian is vulnerable to Decrease SPD and Turn Meter reduction, allowing you to limit how frequently he attacks, places Poisons, or activates them through Bane. This can significantly reduce the pressure on your team, particularly if you’re relying on cleansing skills with longer cooldowns.

Increase SPD and Turn Meter fills are equally useful for helping your Champions cycle through their skills faster. Combining these effects with enemy Turn Meter reduction can help maintain Block Debuffs, cleanse Poisons when necessary, and potentially defeat the boss before he takes another turn.

Damage

Strong damage dealers can make Void Keep farming much easier by quickly clearing the waves, eliminating the minions, and defeating the boss. Decrease DEF and Weaken help maximise your damage, while powerful raw damage dealers and Enemy MAX HP Champions can significantly speed up the boss phase.

Poison and HP Burn activations provide alternative ways to deal substantial damage, particularly when combined with Champions who can apply multiple debuffs. The faster you defeat the Void Guardian, the fewer opportunities he has to build up Poisons and activate them against your team.

Crowd Control

Crowd control effects such as Stun, Freeze, and Provoke can help manage the waves and minions if they’re causing problems. The right minion is particularly important to control or defeat quickly, as its Block Buffs debuff can prevent your Champions from applying the protection needed against the boss’s Poisons.

While the Void Guardian himself is immune to most crowd control effects, preventing the minions from taking turns can reduce the risk of Weaken and Block Buffs disrupting your team. This allows you to focus on maintaining protection, controlling the boss’s Turn Meter, and dealing damage.

Void Keep Team Example

Here are five Champions that make up an effective Stage 20 Void Keep farming team, combining strong damage, Turn Meter control, and protection against the boss’s Poison abilities. The team also provides the tools needed to clear the waves, manage the minions, and prevent Poisons before the Void Guardian can activate them. This is an example of a successful team composition, with plenty of alternative Champions capable of achieving similar results.

Eostrid

Eostrid Dreamsong Picture Profile

Eostrid provides valuable team wide buffs through Increase SPD and Increase ATK, while filling allies Turn Meters and reducing those of enemies. She also brings Decrease SPD and Weaken, helping your team control the pace of the encounter and deal more damage. This makes her an excellent choice for maintaining buffs against the Void Guardian while providing strong Speed control and offensive support.

Maneater

Maneater

Maneater brings valuable skills to this team, with his A3 providing Block Debuffs to prevent the boss’s Poisons and minion effects, alongside Unkillable to help vulnerable allies survive. His A2 can fully deplete the Void Guardian’s Turn Meter, while his A1 brings Decrease ATK to reduce incoming damage. Timing his skills correctly makes him an excellent option for controlling the boss and keeping your team protected. He’s certainly not just a Clan Boss Champion!

Stag Knight brings Decrease DEF to work alongside Eostrid’s Weaken, helping your team maximise damage against the waves and boss. He also provides Decrease ATK to reduce incoming damage, while his A1 can place Decrease SPD to help control the boss’s turns. His passive offers additional support by placing Increase ACC on allies when their debuffs are resisted, improving their chances of landing effects on their next turn.

Ethlen fills an additional damage slot, which could also be covered by an Enemy MAX HP Champion or another powerful damage dealer. He brings offensive self buffs to enhance his kit, alongside a strong double hitting AoE attack that can place Block Active Skills to control the waves. This also helps him quickly eliminate the minions and contribute valuable damage against the Void Guardian.

Building for Debuffs, Damage & Skill Timing

Accuracy & Stat Requirements

Accuracy is important for Champions placing key debuffs such as Decrease DEF, Weaken, Decrease ATK, and Decrease SPD, alongside those responsible for reducing the Void Guardian’s Turn Meter. As a general guideline, aim for around 25 more ACC than the boss’s RES, using the Raid Stages Tool to check the requirements for your chosen stage.

For damage dealers, prioritise 100% C.RATE, strong C.DMG, and the relevant damage scaling stat. Hybrid Champions who provide both damage and debuffs should balance ACC, SPD, and offensive stats to get the most value from their skills.

The Void Guardian and his minions are all Void Affinity, allowing for more flexible team compositions without worrying about Weak Hits against the boss.

Recommended Artifact Sets

Perception, Pinpoint, Feral, and Accuracy focused sets are strong options for reaching the ACC needed to consistently land important debuffs. Speed focused sets can also help Champions cycle through their skills faster, maintain protection, and control the encounter.

Damage dealers can prioritise Ignore DEF sets such as Savage, Merciless, Cruel, or Lethal to maximise their damage against the boss and waves. Hybrid Champions can combine offensive and Accuracy focused sets or Accessories to balance damage with debuff consistency, while defensive or support focused sets can improve survivability if your team struggles to withstand incoming attacks.

Skill Timing & Team Presets

Timing your Block Debuffs and cleansing skills can make a significant difference against the Void Guardian. Ideally, Block Debuffs should be active before the boss uses Grim Reaper, preventing his irresistible Poisons from being applied. Alternatively, Remove Debuffs can cleanse these Poisons before they deal damage over time or are instantly activated through Bane.

Using Team Presets allows you to prioritise these abilities during the boss encounter rather than having your Champions waste important cooldowns on wave 2. With the right Speed tuning and skill order, you can maintain protection, remove Poisons at key moments, and improve the consistency of your farming runs.

Tips for building Void Keep teams

Managing the Void Guardian

  • Prevent His Poisons – Block Debuffs can stop the Void Guardian’s irresistible Poisons from being applied, while Remove Debuffs can cleanse them before they wear down your team or are activated through Bane.
  • Control His Turns – Decrease SPD and Turn Meter reduction can limit how frequently the boss attacks and uses his Poison abilities. With enough control and damage, you may prevent him from taking a turn entirely.
  • Time Your Skills – Use Team Presets to ensure Block Debuffs is active before Grim Reaper, or save your cleansing skills to remove Poisons before Bane. Proper timing can make the encounter significantly easier.

Dealing with the Minions & Waves

  • Prioritise the Minions – The left minion places Weaken to increase the damage your team receives, while the right applies Block Buffs, preventing important protection such as Block Debuffs. Defeat them quickly to focus on the boss.
  • Use Crowd Control – Stun, Freeze, and Provoke can prevent the minions and wave enemies from using their skills, reducing the pressure on your team while you work through the encounter.
  • Clear the Waves Efficiently – Strong AoE damage supported by Decrease DEF and Weaken can speed up your runs. Seer or Poison Explosion teams can also quickly clear both waves before transitioning into the boss phase.

Building for Damage & Skill Timing

  • Bring Enough Damage – Powerful raw damage, Enemy MAX HP attacks, and Poison or HP Burn activations can quickly defeat the Void Guardian, reducing his opportunities to apply and activate Poisons.
  • Balance Your Stats – Prioritise enough ACC to land important debuffs, SPD to cycle through your skills, and offensive stats for your damage dealers. Use the Raid Stages Tool to check the requirements for your chosen stage.
  • Affinity Matchups – The Void Guardian and his minions are Void Affinity, giving you flexibility when building your team.
