Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.

Conellia Overview

Short and scary, singing sweet lullaby’s to doze off enemies… and occasionally herself ! Conellia is an Epic support magic affinity champion residing from the Dwarves Faction.

If you’re seeking strong crowd control, or simply a solo champion to tackle Raid’s hardest Doom Tower bosses, then Conellia is your doll. Her A1 has a 50% chance to reduce a targets skill cooldown by 2 turns, which is useful when encountering the Eternal dragon or a targets randomised active skill. Peace of the deep isn’t your average AOE sleep ability as its a placement skill, therefore mitigating weak hits. This also has a good chance to be replaced with a Fear debuff instead, potentially causing your enemies to lose another turn !

Conellia’s revitalizing rest is one of the most unique abilities in Raid, creating plenty of Doom tower solo strategies to come in to fruition. She places a Sleep debuff on an ally (or herself) and manipulates Turn meter by different values depending on how they’re woken. If the Sleep Debuff is removed or expires you get a 50% turn meter boost and heal, however if taking damage from an enemy this is taken to 100% ! This is great for both Faction wars progression, and enabling solo compositions for Bommal, Scarab King, Griffin and the beloved Nether spider. The idea of these solo strategies is enabled by sleeping herself and being woken by the bosses, keeping her in a cycle of consistent healing and turn meter boosts by 100%, keeping her practically Unkillable in the right stats & gear.

[Passive Effect]

Whenever an enemy loses a [Sleep] debuff placed by this Skill, has a 50% chance of replacing it with a [Fear] debuff for 1 turn instead.
