Siegfrund the Nephilim Overview

Wielding angelic power and the power of the Nephilim, Siegfrund descends into Teleria as the Mythical Champion for the Sacred Order faction. He is a unique Mythical in that you cannot choose when to metamorph to his alternate form as it requires him to be the sole remaining survivor on a team.

Base Form
With his recent update in Patch 8.30, Siegfrund has become possibly the best damage dealer in Arena and for wave clearing. Using Rage of the Nepihilim [A3], Siegfrund can target an enemy to deal significant single target damage. If that ability also kills an enemy he will take the remaining damage from his initial hit [left from killing the enemy] and deal that damage to all enemies. This damage can critically hit leading to damage in the millions in wave content. He can reset his abilities if he kills enemies with Seraphic Wave [A2] whilst also gaining significant amounts of Turn Meter. Should he take fatal damage from direct hits, then Siegfrund will block the damage and placing Block Damage. Be careful trying to kill an entire team in arena with Siegfrund because attempting to do so can trigger his Alternate Form

Alternate Form
If Siegfrund is the sole remaining champion on his team, he will Metamorph into a Support champion with a powerful Revive. The core loop of Siegfrund’s alternate form is transforming on the death of all allies allowing him to use Light of the Beyond [A3] that revives all allies with a Block Damage buff for 2 turns. He can follow this up with a full cleanse, heal and a Block Debuffs with Nephilic Ward [A2]. This setup allows you to recover your team from the brink of failure and can be used cleverly in places such as Fire-Knight Hard to revive and re-enable your team to keep fighting.

Siegfrund’s value is now significant and if you can scale his build to the heights of endgame, expect your damage numbers to hit levels that few other champions can reach!

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
