Seeking fatalities with her chained iron mace, this OG Raid classic has stood the test of time in the battle to protect Telaria. Rearguard Sergeant is an Epic defence champion from the Dwarves Faction.

If you desire a champion who can absorb damage for your allies whilst placing crucial Debuffs, then Rearguard Sergeant is at your command. Although the placement of her Decrease attack (75% chance) and Decrease defence (50% chance) isn’t ideal for consistency, pairing her alongside champions with similar issues such as Toragi the frog and Hotatsu can create a strong counter balance against the Demon Lord. It is also recommended to consider Counter attack, Ally attack or 2:1 Ratio speed tunes to optimise her kit, granting extra chances of debuff placement.

Rearguard Sergeants signature skill is her A3, placing both 50% Ally protection and 15% Continuous heal buffs on all allies except herself for 2 turns. This variant of protection is one of the best forms of damage mitigations in Raid, therefore building Rearguard in Stalwat / Defiant sets is ideal for her own survivability (Granted that Leech is active on your target).

To conclude, Rearguard Sergeant is a great option for players building traditional Clan Boss teams where sustainability is key, bringing a 3 turn cooldown on both active skills (Ideal for speed tuning), whilst holding great value in clearing the Faction Wars.
