Double 10x Clan vs Clan Summons!
Plarium has announced another (expected) summon event to go alongside Clan vs Clan this week, with 2 incredibly valuable Champions included!
Let’s check out the announcement, then we’ll let you know our opinion of these Champions…!
Plarium Announcement:
Hey everyone!
Some news about the upcoming events:
- Tomorrow, October 11th, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon Dracomorph from Ancient and Sacred Shards
- And on Wednesday, October 12th, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon Baron from Void Shards
Should you pull your shards?
Unless you are saving for very specific reasons, such as:
- A 10x boosted rates on a particular Champion you are looking for.
- You are close to pity and want to target a legendary.
- Saving for a future Fusion Event
Even if this event ticks the first 2 boxes, it’s arguably not a good time to pull your shards for various reasons:
- The chance to get a 10x Champion is VERY slim.
- There is not an active event alongside this aside from Clan vs Clan (And this one is NOT Personal Rewards)
- There is a Fusion Summon Event this upcoming Weekend.
- There SHOULD be a Guaranteed Champion Event in the very near future based on typical patterns.
Are these Champions worth pulling for?
There’s a funny trend with these Champions, both of them were known to be memes once upon a time, and both received mega-buffs that made them incredibly sought-after and valuable Champions during their Raid Career, with Baron’s being the most recent only a couple of weeks ago.
Let’s start off with Dracomorph, because we all know about his potential, and value in Raid: Shadow Legends.
Dracomorph is one of the best Clan boss damage dealers in the game, but not only that, Dracomorph excels in dungeons with his A3 ability placing AOE Decrease DEF and Weaken on all enemies, but his Poison debuffs can also help you tear through Dragon – Whilst Dracomorph has dropped off in use in the end-game in dungeons since the release of more Champions who can provide the same debuffs as him, whilst also buffing Seer, he still remains incredibly valuable and a champion worth picking up for any account!
Baron… well, hasn’t he risen in the ranks..!
Baron used to be a unique niche champion until he received a “buff” in September 2022 which caused the Banner Lord to lose his Pure damage ability and gained a hard-hitting AOE in its place. The reason for it being so niche was because there was only a 40% chance to unlock the secret skill and for most players, this luck wasn’t enough to make him a viable champion in the game and only the elite would actually use him for this skill. This now makes him one of the best champions in Raid for the arena and a great counter to Bolster shield set, Krisk and Nekhret as it also ignores shields. This is also awesome that his A4 doesn’t need books!
Baron does have a great a2 which is a single target Decrease DEF debuff and you may be thinking oh why is that so great?! The reason is the debuff is guaranteed and does not require accuracy. This makes him very good in places like Spider, especially with the Nukes he has in his arsenal!
Baron is best known for his A1 ability that does insane damage to all other enemies if he kills someone, this strategy is used a lot in Doom Tower waves.
Will you be going for these Champion(s)? If so, which one? Let us know in the comments below!
might give a flutter for 3 ancients but that’s about it, saving up for guaranteed
I’ll pull my usual 5-10 ancients at a chance for Draco. Not a champ I need but would like him for the collection and to have a new champ to build.
Lots of people will pull voids! I’m saving all my non Sacred shards for a guaranteed event (way better return, watch Nub Raids video about it). I don’t have lots of ancients anymore, as I pulled for and got a Geo during the 10x. Knowing myself I’m going to pull at least 3 ancients, and I’m going to get 3 rares.
Thanks for recommending nub raids video in prev posts. Due to that saving for guaranteed since then.
