How to beat Carrion Crows Khloros

Boss_Khloros_Battle

This fight is all about speed control and debuff management for both your team and Carrion Crows Khloros. Like many Inferno bosses, he starts with an Immunity buff, and removing it early is crucial to get your strategy rolling. Carrion Crows Khloros is Odd affinity, which means you’ll want to avoid using Reason animus where possible to prevent disadvantage. To deal with his opening Immunity, you’ll need reliable buff removal. Viper is an excellent option as he not only strips buffs but also applies [SPD-], which will be invaluable later when dealing with [Soul Binder]. Other choices include Heinrich, Borgne, and Nahor, but the standout pick is Plume. Her Skill 3 not only removes buffs but also applies [DEF-] and [Weakeness]. Since Carrion Crows Khloros scales off Defense, this reduces his damage while increasing yours. In addition, Plume’s [Curse Quill] applies [SPD-], making her feel tailor-made for this fight.

Carrion Crows Khloros’ first two abilities both apply [SPD-], with the second also applying [Petrify]. These can derail your team if not managed. Lingluo is the queen here, providing [Immunity] and a built-in cleanse, covering both prevention and recovery. Alternatives include Cachi the Guard and Ninfoniel who can both provide [Immunity]. If you go the cleansing route, Dorothy the Wisher can remove 2 debuffs on her Ultimate (if she crits), while Doki Doki remains reliable thanks to her unique [Back Up] buff.

Carrion Crows Khloros’ third skill targets the enemy with the highest Attack, then applies [Soul Binder] to himself. This cannot be dispelled normally—it must be removed one stack at a time by dealing damage. If allowed to expire, it deals a devastating 2000% Defense as True Damage, which will almost certainly wipe you out. To counter this, bring multi-hit attackers to chew through stacks quickly, and lean on [SPD-] from Viper or [Curse Quill] from Plume to buy yourself more time.

Outside of this, you’ll need a solid damage dealer and possibly a turn meter booster to cycle through your skills more quickly. A strong example of a four-man team would be Plume, Lingluo, Lily, and Yeli, as they provide the perfect mix of buff removal, debuff protection, damage, and turn manipulation. With careful speed control, timely cleanses, and consistent pressure to strip away [Soul Binder], you’ll be well-equipped to take down Carrion Crows Khloros on Inferno difficulty.
