Web of Corruption — Event Dungeon Beginner’s Guide
The new Event Dungeon has arrived alongside the Web of Corruption Event in RAID: Shadow Legends. In this guide we give you all the beginner’s info you need to progress through this time-limited dungeon, taking down the new evil Sylvan Watchers boss, Rhaia the Mourned.
This Event Dungeon is one of the only ways to earn Pinpoint gear, and we expect there to be several tournaments, events, and even a Coalition Event featuring this dungeon which will reward the event-limited Chaos Awakes relics.
Stay tuned for our in-depth guide on the Event Dungeon (including how to beat the 5 “Challenge” stages), coming later this week!
HOW TO BEAT THE BOSS (RHAIA THE MOURNED)

Rhaia the Mourned is an extremely powerful damage-dealing void legendary champion (available to pull from Void Shards!) and she has been repurposed as the boss of this rotation of the Event Dungeon. With her buff-stealing snowballing potential, you must carefully prepare or find you team destroyed.
RHAIA WANTS TO STEAL YOUR BUFFS
The most dangerous part of this boss fight is if Rhaia gains a bunch of buffs with her opening A3 attack.
This attack self-buffs her with Increase ATK, then hits your entire team 3 times with each hit Stealing one buff off each champion, giving Rhaia 10% turn meter for each buff stolen. If you go into this fight with lots of buffs, you are basically buffing the boss instead.
If she steals enough buffs, this also sets up a nasty combo where she has gained so much turn meter that she can follow up with her A2 immediately, which can Stun your entire team and quickly lead to a wipe. It is essential to prevent her setting up a powerful A2 attack with her A3.
PREVENT HER STEALING BUFFS
The two easiest ways to prevent her from stealing buffs are:
- To simply not bring any buffs to this fight.
- To bring the Block Buffs debuff.
- To bring Increase RES and Decrease ACC.
We highly recommend the 2nd option, since it is much less limiting and it also counters her self-buff Increase ATK.
The other two options are viable as well, with option 1 being friendly for lower levels of the Event Dungeon and option 3 being an option for late-game players who can build good teams around the recent fusion Mavara the Web Diviner.
DEBUFFS ARE KING
Rhaia has no way to remove debuffs from herself, making debuffs an extremely powerful tool against her. (Note that her allies can potentially remove them and we’ll address that in the next section).
Block Buffs is the most important one, as discussed above. After that, Decrease ATK will cut her damage output in half, and Decrease DEF is also important to boost the damage of your team.
SOLO HER WITH ONE TANKY CHAMPION
If you can’t keep your entire team alive, then bringing a team to wipe out her allies and aiming to have one solo champion (like Geomancer) survive to slowly solo her in a 1v1 duel is a very viable strategy.
To build a good solo champion you should:
- Gear them in Regeneration gear.
- (Optional) Gear them in Immortal gear as well.
- Equip the Golden Elixir relic.
- Build high HP and moderate DEF and SPD.
- Build enough ACC to land debuffs (if needed).
- (If Legendary rarity) equip the Brimstone blessing.
The goal is to build a champion who is so tanky that Rhaia simply cannot kill them! Then you slowly wear her down with debuffs like HP Burn, Poison, or Brimstone.
DEFEATING RHAIA’S MINIONS

Check our Raid Stages Tool to see each set of minions for each difficulty. (This should be updated for the new rotation within the next day or so).
HOW TO KILL THE MINIONS
Killing or controlling these minions is essential:
- Debuffs such as Decrease DEF and Weaken are key to killing them quickly.
- Bring champions with strong AoE attacks (such as Kael or Thor Faehammer).
- Bring Increase ATK buffs (Rhaia self-buffs this, so she can’t steal it) and Ally Attack champions to boost their damage further.
- Try to bring good affinity matchups.
- Crowd Control abilities like Stun, Provoke, or Increase Skill Cooldowns are incredibly effective, since Rhaia (who is immune) has no supporting abilities to protect her team.
STAGES 1-20
For stages 1-10, Rhaia will have 0-2 minions, making the fight quite easy.
Once you hit Stage 11, she will have 4 minions from then on, with harder sets appearing as you climb the stages.
Madame Serris and Psylar are the first dangerous enemies, since they can debuff you with Decrease DEF, Decrease ATK, Decrease SPD, Decrease ACC, and drastically push back your Turn Meter. Make sure to not let them take any turns.
From Stage 16 you must also watch out for Mistrider Daithi. He can self-buff like Rhaia, and place Decrease DEF on your team while also potentially gaining Extra Turns and dealing heavy damage.
STAGES 21-30
On these stages you start fighting legendary enemies, which is a big step up in terms of difficulty.
Elva Autumnborn is incredibly dangerous and must never be allowed to take a turn because she can Remove Debuffs from her whole team and place Block Debuffs and Increase SPD. Since we are relying on debuffs to counter Rhaia, this must never be allowed to happen and is the top priority in these stages.
Baerd the Broad is a relatively new champion and the second priority to counter, since he can place Provoke and Pain Link on your entire team, which can also lead to immediate team wipes.
From Stage 26, Tramaria replaces Elva as the Remove Debuff threat, but crucially she cannot be affected by typical CC herself. You must either Increase Skill Cooldowns against her or kill her before she uses her A3.
From Stage 28 you must deal with Niamhe, Spear of Nyresa and the newly buffed King Gallcobar. Niamhe places Block Damage on her entire team at the start of the fight, and reapplies it when she drops below 50% HP: you need to use Remove Buffs to deal damage initially; then Block Buffs to prevent it reapplying. King Gallcobar simply needs to controlled like Elva was.
SAMPLE TEAMS

Here are some sample teams for a few different stages of the dungeon. Check out our HellHades Optimiser Tool to find out the best teams for any stage of the dungeon based off of the champions that you own! (This should be updated for the new rotation of the Event Dungeon within the next couple of days).
NUB’S STAGE 20 TEAM
The team I used here was:
This is a simple team idea: Deacon places Decrease DEF on all enemies, then Fahrakin’s Ally Attack alongside the powerful AoE attacks of Skullcrown and Sinesha kill all the minions. Geomancer then can solo Rhaia! (Though I didn’t need him at all)
To adjust this team, you can replace literally all of the champions with similar roles: any set of champions who can kill the minions, paired with a champion to solo her after (if you even need it). One thing you can add for much more safety is a champion with Block Buffs, e.g. replace Deacon with Uugo.
NUB’S STAGE 30 TEAM
This stage is a lot more difficult due to Niamhe, so I brought in Marius to strip off her Block Damage.
The team I’m using here is:
Yoshi brings Decrease ACC, which allows us to resist Rhaia’s buff steals when paired with Mavara’s Increase RES buff. Lydia debuffs enemies, then Marius kills them. Since they have a lot of HP, I brought in Visix to Provoke (since Marius will take 2 turns to kill enemies). You can replicate this team by replacing any of these champions with ones who perform a similar role: I simply wanted to use relatively accessible champions for most late-game players (plus Yoshi just for fun, since he was recently buffed).
