Skull Lord Var-Gall

Fused to life from the sacrifice of 16 Skullsworn’s, a ferocious lizard has risen from The Sewers of Arnoc to take down the infamous Hydra! Skull Lord Var-Gall is a Force affinity legendary from the Lizardmen faction.

Skull Lord Var-Gall was buffed in January 2022 which led him to become one of the best champions to destroy the Scarab King’s shield, as his passive now works against bosses! Although his kit can also be extremely valuable for various encounters. When seeking the fundamentals for the Hydra to counter the Head Of Decay & mitigate damage, this champion can place a Provoke Debuff on a 2 turn cooldown, coinciding with self Strengthen buffs & AOE Decrease Attack Debuffs. Having such low cooldowns opens the opportunity to gain full control over this head, whilst the placement aspect alleviates negative affinity situations [or even those tedious Poison Clouds]. This provoke will also be extremely powerful universally for content such as the Magma Dragon, or simply targets in Faction Wars for progression [As examples]. Last but not least, the A1 skill has a 30% chance to repeat its attack which can be great for Fire Knight progression to reduce the shield counters, whilst also having the chance to place Heal Reduction.
