Not All Legendaries are Gold in Raid: Shadow Legends

When you are pulling champions in Raid: Shadow Legends it is all too easy to be blinded by the hunt for Legendary Champions. However, not all champions are created equally and not all champions that provide more benefit to your account than a shiny gold pull are Legendaries.

There are some seriously game-changing champions in the game that appear to have slipped through Plarium’s rank definition program when implementing them into the game.

Here are a few examples:

Maneater

Maneater is arguably the best Clan Boss champion in Raid Shadow Legends. One, or even better two Maneaters will allow you to speed tune your Clan Boss team to achieve the unkillable status. This will allow your team to survive 50 turns on Clan Boss on any difficulty without having to focus on defensive stats. All of this power wrapped into an epic skin? Let’s face it, most players would rather a Maneater or two over a Legendary any day.

Armiger

Armiger is a game-changing champion early on and is still essential to many teams later on in the game too. Although Armiger takes a little bit of gear to truly make him shine he is still an asset to every account.

Coldheart

Coldheart has long been considered a legendary in rare skin. Her Heartseeker ability scales on enemy MAX HP and although it took a bit of a hit in Dungeons after lvl 20 her ability to drop turn meter still makes her an extremely viable champion in many areas of the game.

Bellower

Bellower as a champion that can perform in so many areas of the game he becomes way more viable than many legendary champions. All three of Bellowers attacks are AOE so you have the option to build him for all-out damage and use him as an extremely effective campaign farmer, or make him a little tanky and stick a stun set on him for all-out wave control.

Apothecary

Apoth-o-carry is one of the most sought after champions in the early game that can completely transform your progression in Raid: Shadow Legends. This powerhouse support champion will improve your team’s ability to go first whilst providing solid healing support to your champions.

Miscreated Monster

Not only does Miscreated Monster look like a legendary, but he performs like one too. As one of the strongest wave control champions in the game, Miscreated Monster is a progression powerhouse by providing huge shields and stuns to keep your team moving through content. Miscreated Monster is definitely one of those champions that slipped through the legendary check on the champion line.

These are just a few champions that are just as good, if not better than many legendary champions in Raid: Shadow Legends. Do you agree with our selection and who else would you include in this category?
