Gnut Fusion Guide – Raid Shadow Legends

Spacer

Welcome to the Gnut Fusion Guide, a brand new Legendary Champion from the Dwarves Faction, who has just featured in Call of the Arbiter.

In this guide, we will provide you with all the information necessary to complete the Fusion Event and get your hands on a brand-new Champion.

Make sure to check back daily for our Gnut Fusion Guide daily updates!

Gnut Fusion Type: Traditional

Gnut is a Traditional Fusion, rather than a Fragment Collector Event – this means instead of collecting Fragments to Fuse Gnut, we will be collecting 16 Rare Champions, in order to fuse 4 Epic Champions – Once these have been collected and ranked up to Rank 5 – Level 50, you can fuse your copy of Gnut.

These Champions will be collected by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments, they’ll be rewarded for specific Point Milestones, with no benefit for finishing higher in your Tournament Brackets, unlike Fragment Collectors.

Rares will need to be levelled to Rank 4 – Level 40, fully ascended, and Epics will need to be Rank 5 – Level 50, fully ascended.

One of the key differences between Traditional and Fragment Collectors is the time limit, you will NEED to Fuse Gnut before the timer runs out, or else you’ll be unable to collect him, whereas with Fragment Collectors you can wait on collecting until a future Champion Chase Tournament or Clan vs Clan Tournament.

Traditional Fusion Requirements

With Champion Levelling and Ascending playing a key role in these Fusions, here is a breakdown of what you will need.

The Champions involved in the fusion are:

To Rank these to the required level you will need:

  • 48x Rank 3 Chickens
  • 16x Rank 4 Chickens

To Ascend these Champions you will need:

Affinity Lesser Greater Superior
Arcane 80 108 12
Force 120 108 18
Void 40 36 6

Initial thoughts on Gnut

Gnut is an excellent choice for tackling the most challenging encounters in Raid. He excels against foes like the Fire Knight, Clan Boss, and the Hydra!

His first ability, Dwarven Might [A1], allows him to strike a target enemy three times, reducing their Turn Meter by 15% with each hit. However, when facing enemies immune to Turn Meter reduction, Gnut inflicts Freeze Debuffs instead. The value of this skill extends beyond just the Fire Knight, as it proves invaluable in areas like The Dark Fae or Spider’s Den, where controlling the Turn Meter is crucial in Hard mode. In that sense, he can be considered a legendary version of Alure.

Gnut also possesses skills that provide AoE Decrease Attack and Weaken effects, along with a self-buff for counter-attacking. His passive ability increases the damage dealt during counter-attacks from 75% to 100%. This combination allows him to mitigate the damage inflicted by enemies and amplify the damage dealt by his team.

Lastly, Gnut’s third ability strikes three times, with each hit reducing the target’s Defense by 3% (stacking up to 30%). Additionally, each hit heals Gnut by 30% of the damage dealt. This skill synergizes exceptionally well, as its damage scales with Gnut’s defense and the target’s maximum HP, making it a deadly and optimized attack option.

Gnut’s Skills

Dwarven Might

Attacks 1 enemy 3 times.
Each hit has an 80% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 15%. If the target’s Turn Meter is not decreased, each hit has an 80% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on the target for 1 turn instead.

  • Level 2 – Damage +10%
  • Level 3 – Damage +10%
  • Level 4 – Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
  • Level 5 – Buff/Debuff Chance +10%

Fury of the King – Cooldown: 4 Turns

Attacks all enemies.
Has a 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff and a 25% [Weaken] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.
Also places a [Counterattack] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

  • Level 2 – Damage +10%
  • Level 3 – Damage +10%
  • Level 4 – Buff/Debuff chance +10%
  • Level 5 – Buff/Debuff chance +15%
  • Level 6 – Cooldown -1

Blessed Bash – Cooldown: 5 Turns

Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit decreases the target’s DEF by 3% (Stacks up to 30%).
Each hit also heals this Champion by 30% of the damage dealt.

  • Level 2 – Damage +10%
  • Level 3 – Damage +10%
  • Level 4 – Cooldown -1

No Holding Back [Passive]

When counterattacking, deals 100% of damage instead of 75%.

Aura

Increases Ally ACC in Dungeons by 80.

Is the Gnut Fusion worth going for?

We always recommend going for every Fusion if you have the resources to do so.

However, Gnut is one you do NOT want to miss, he is arguably a God-Tier Champion, and his kit makes him so versatile whether you bring him as a Turn Meter Controller, a Decrease ATK Champion, or just care for his TRIPLE-hitting MAX HP Attack, that will allow you to bypass the 10% Cap mechanic in most end-game content, raising the bar up to 30% MAX HP due to the individual hits – This skill will be incredibly valuable in Doom Tower, Hydra and Dungeons!

Gnut Fusion Events

As part of the Gnut Fusion, we will also have two Summon Events in the Fusion Schedule, one of which will be a Champion Chase Tournament, whilst the other will be a Summon Rush Event.

To reduce the amount of time spent in Dungeon Tournaments, Plarium has started activating Super Raids for Fusion Events and this will be the case in the Gnut Fusion also, with the corresponding Super Raids lining up with their adjoining dungeon in the Fusion Calendar.

  • From 11:00 UTC, Monday, July 3 to 11:00 UTC, Thursday, July 6 in Spider’s Den.
  • From 11:00 UTC Thursday, July 6 to 11:00 UTC, Sunday, July 9 in Dragon’s Lair.
  • From 11:00 UTC Monday, July 10 to 11:00 UTC, Thursday, July 13 in Ice Golem’s Peak.
  • From 11:00 UTC Thursday, July 13 to 11:00 UTC, Sunday, July 16 in Fire Knight’s Castle.

As this contains a Summon Rush Event, you will need to plan ahead to determine if you can achieve this. We don’t know the exact point requirements for the summon rush so far but you will need to be prepared. Use our summon rush calculator below to see how many points you can currently earn.

Day 1:

New Events:

With all of these events, it is highly advisable to hold off till tomorrow for Clan vs Clan to get the most of your points, whilst also helping out your clan!

These are a perfect set of events to double dip, whether you’re spending your energy in Spider or Campaign doing the Training Event you’ll be working towards the Dungeon Divers Event passively, whilst also collecting Silver for the Artifact Enhancement Event.

It’s time to level up those Champions of yours, and perhaps prepare some of the necessary food requirements for the Fusion Champions, to get the most out of your resources whilst also completing this event!

HellHades has some useful tips on maximising the return on champion training. Read more about these strategies here.

As for the Spider Tournament, 2250 Points will require around 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy – Of course, this may be altered even further by running Hard Mode Spider, as the Mythical Artifact Drops will give you further increased points!

And finally, the Artifact Enhancement, to get this event’s copy of Loneblade Riab, you’ll require 4775 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

Artifact Enhancement

1. If you pre-rolled your gear to level 7/11/15 before the event, you can go ahead and burn through your silver taking these up by 1 level each to gain quick easy points.

2. The other really good option for these events is doing a good old gear clear-out, rolling things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, and selling things that you won’t want to keep, a great guide for this is Hellhades’ Detailed Gear Cleanse Video.

Spacer

Day 2:

New Events:

This Event fits perfectly with Clan vs Clan and yesterday’s events, double-dip these as much as possible, and make the most of your resources whilst also completing the Dungeon Divers Event!

There’s not much more to say on this one – just get grinding!

Spacer

Day 4:

New Events:

To reach 2250 Points in the Dragon Tournament, you’ll generally need about 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the worst drops of 5* rare gear.

However, keep in mind that your personal drop rates may significantly decrease this number. It will require around 2250 energy.

Running Hard Mode Dragon may further affect these figures due to the bonus points from Mythical Artifact Drops.

In the Arena Takedown Tournament, make sure to utilize all of your daily battles. Monitor your points closely and consider using 1 or 2 gem refills if necessary to reach your target points, depending on your arena tier and win rate. Prioritize winning fights and avoid using tokens on uncertain battles.

After these Events, we will have 6 out of 12 required Loneblade Riabs!

Spacer

Day 5:

New Events:

For the Artifact Enhancement, to get this event’s copy of Loneblade Riab, you’ll require 4775 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

Next up, it’s time to open your shards for the 10x Ally Protectors Event!

You can either opt to go for JUST the Rare in this Summon Rush Event, or continue and earn enough points for a copy of Ambassador Lethelin which will mean you can pick 4 upcoming events to skip that feature Loneblade Riab

Be sure to refer to our Summon Rush Calculator above to see where you stand for points!

Spacer

Day 6:

New Events:

This Dungeon Divers Event will line up with several events, either the currently active Dragon Tournament – which you can double-dip if you’re missing some Dragon runs still, or tomorrow’s Champion Training Tournament, or Monday’s Ice Golem Tournament – If you’re carefully using your energy during these Events and waiting for new ones to start before farming, you should have no issues in clearing the 3150 Point requirement of this without extra investment.

Spacer

Day 7:

New Events:

The Champion Training Tournament follows the typical point system for Fusions, where 5150 points are required to obtain the rare Champion.

To maximize your points, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the tournament.

This is a great opportunity to begin levelling the Fusion Champions you’ve acquired so far, to gain points whilst doing a necessary act in order to complete the fusion.

Spacer

Day 8:

New Events:

To get your hands on the rare from Ice Golem, it will take you around 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can vary based on your drop rates and higher stages that you decide to farm. This will take ~2250 energy.

Spacer

Day 9:

New Events:

Artifact Enhancement… another one…

To get this event’s copy of Loneblade Riab, you’ll require 4775 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

Artifact Enhancement

1. If you pre-rolled your gear to level 7/11/15 before the event, you can go ahead and burn through your silver taking these up by 1 level each to gain quick easy points.

Day 10:

New Events:

We’re coming to the end of the Gnut Fusion now, with only 4 Events/Tournaments remaining, for today’s Dungeon Divers, it syncs nicely with the current Ice Golem Tournament, and tomorrows upcoming Fire Knight Tournament – be sure to utilize this period to farm any remaining points you may need and double-dip to complete Dungeon Divers whilst earning points for other active events.

Spacer

Day 11:

New Events:

It’s time for the FINAL Loneblade Riab, meaning after today’s Event you should be able to fuse 3 copies of Ambassador Lethelin!

For the Fire Knight Tournament, 2250 Points will require around 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy – Of course, this may be altered even further by running Hard Mode Fire Knight, as the Mythical Artifact Drops will give you further increased points – However, it is a big step up in difficulty!

Spacer

Day 12:

New Events:

It’s the final event day!

The Champion Chase Tournament lines up nicely with the 2x Sacred Shard/10x Summon Event, so it’s time to pull those shards and fuse any Champions you’ve picked up thus far, and also a great opportunity to summon any Fragment Champions you’ve got sat waiting to get yourself the point requirement!

This is one of (if not the) highest point requirements we’ve seen for a Champion Chase Tournament, so best of luck – you’re in the clear after this event!

Spider Hard is much easier than most hard mode dungeons if you have the right champion!

F2P players will never have enough resources to do these fusions even if they hoarded for a very long time. Only paid players who use clickers can do it. Today I made 40 runs at Spider. Got me 1/4 way there. Needs 100+ more runs. The massive silver needed also is way more than any F2P has. I’ve only got 10K. And the time! Just the third event levelling people in 12-3 that’s also several more hours. And that’s just Day 1. These events are for paid players and those who use clickers. Not me.

The game is for those who use clickers. Dont tell me thet you actualy play the game while grinding. Energy should be not an issue. Silver you will get for sold gear also not a problem and shard you will get from CB. So only blocker is your time and you can run the game with just some stupid autoclicker and go outside do somethin more meaningful.

I am free to play and 120 days in (I just received Dark Elhain this morning) and I don’t think I will have any issue doing the fusion (it will be my first one).
I didn’t try to 2 previous underwhelming fusions and I have accumulated the resources I need: I currently have 122 Ancient shards, 13 void (although I had 0 after the Demytha event) and 9 sacred. I also have more than 7000 gems and started the event with more than 42.000.000 silvers.
In addition, I am ready to collect Arbiter, fuse Drexthar and fuse Bloodfeather (one of the Epic of the Razhin fusion) during the Champion chase to limit the shards I will have to open (and spare as many as I can for the next fusion or guaranteed champion I will go for). Anybody doing the fusion should be able to get 500 to 750 points in the champion chase for the fusion of the 2-3 Ambassador Lethelin needed.

I’m completely free to play and will have no trouble getting this fusion. I’ve played long enough to get Visix and Arbiter. I’ve previously gotten the Razelvarg fusion as well, but that was the first one I’ve attempted. It just takes discipline and saving resources for times they matter like this fusion. I’m not suggested that is the best way to play the game, but it’s necessary if you want to do the fusions. I probably won’t be able to do the next couple of fusions, but this one will be worth the effort.

You may need to read some more guides on how to save up for these fusions. I’ve been playing for the past 9 months completely free to play and have done 5 fusions. They are getting harder with the summon rush and champion chase requirements, however.

That’s bullshit. F2P can manage even to do every fusion as they happen. If they skip the worst ones then easily all the others. Lacking hours is not F2P related, thats life related. Maybe your life just does not allow for phone on side with game open running auto battles.

soda, bullshit back at you. I don’t know how math works in your imaginary universe, but here in reality if you burn 1/4 of you saved energy and only get 1/4 the way through the first tournament, that means at the end of the first tournament there is no energy left for any other tournament. Simple algebra. I had 11K energy saved and blew off 2.5K only to realize this fact.

To get that bad a return on your energy you would have to either be failing runs or only running stage 1 of spider… If you run stage 10, 16, or 20 successfully you would get a 97% energy to point conversion on spider

It’s hard early game but once you can get top chest on nm and unm clan boss every day it’s not that hard if you save resources for it. I’ve done every fusion since mighty ukko f2p, tbh I think it’s more important to go for them as a f2p player because it’s the easiest way to get guaranteed legendary champions.

Hy Aislin, google for RSLHelper4 this is legal Addon they play for you! Its an ultimate helping tool , totaly free and accept by Plarium ! i am totally with you that Players they spend Money they dont have proplems with this Fusion, also new Players they did not safe resources have “NO” chance to finalise the Fusion. 99% you cant reacht the Void Champions for this Fusion! Plarium dont like Free2Play Players ;-) but beware, the next “very good Champion for Fusion Comes” and then have enough resources… All Events comes every month…

I don’t agree. I’m a mobile player (iPhone), free to play, and playing about 18 month. I’ve been able to pick up every fragment collector or fusion since about 3 months, my first being Gaius, I’ve only skipped a couple who didn’t interest me (Jetni being the last). I don’t use clickers or anything like that, it’s all about being efficient with time and effort, making sure every opportunity to double dip points across multiple events and tournaments are maximised. Hell Hades frequently posts videos on how to be efficient for fusions, or check our Eharbads channel on YouTube if you want to see efficiency taken to a whole new level.

Not *quite*, as you can still grab the epic from the Summon Rush, and that’ll take away the need to do 4 non-summoning events (IG, Aritfact Enhancement, etc).

It’s certainly worse than most of the previous ones, as you HAVE to do both summoning events to some degree, but you don’t need max rewards from every single one. Or if you do grab ALL the champs from every event, you’ll end up with a spare Epic, like usual.

Loving the guide and the youtube videos. Thank you. This is the second fusion I’m attempting F2P almost 120 days in. Barely got the Jetni, but I was seeing if I could do it. This one seems doable by following the tips. Seems that saving shards is the biggest challenge. Recently tackling nightmare clan boss is really helping that. Otherwise, its about preparation and efficiency.

Maybe helpfull: when you would like to complete summon rush with mystic (green) shards, safe them until the champion training for the void rare starts.
I use my sacreds, voids and ancients today to the point till I am able to complete with the green ones.
The green ones go always in the tavern into each other and you’ll get a lot of points for the champion training that’s starts on Sunday.

This fusion will be super hard for me – I dont have a lot of shards and I dont know how I will do champion chase (I need 7 fragments for Hellmut and I lack 8 fragments to complete on time Drexthar). This is crazy but maybe I will need to fuze a lot of Arbalester and Rockbeast to get more points in this future chase (rare void champions are 50 points each and right now I will use a lot of Mystery Shards…
I am sure about one thing – if I pull this fusion, for a month everytime when I will be using Gnut as a champion I will be playing “Diggy Diggy Hole” as a tribute for this Dwarf! :P

Well I fubarred the first artifact enhancement and couldn’t grab the extra epic from the summon rush, and as of today I have 8 of the force rates and 2 of the void ones fully ready to fuse. My only chance, as I haven’t given up, is to luck pull either the epic or the force rare. I have 8 epics I can fuse from the broadmaw and razle, and this fusions epics. So should be set. Hopefully I can fuse this guy because this is my first fusion and I’ve been playing for years, level 83, just never saw the appeal of going through these idioitic fusions because they are time and resource heavy. Fingers crossed!

Nice how the final dungeon diver is 550 points higher than the other two. It’ll take that much longer to finish and cost a not insignificant amount of additional energy.
