Gnut Overview

This Dwarven warrior doesn’t hold back, wielding an axe infused with fury of the king to bash the heads of enemies! Gnut is a Defence Spirit affinity Legendary champion, joining the Dwarves faction as a fusion to celebrate his appearance in Call Of The Arbiter episode 7.

Gnut is a powerful option to tackle some of Raid’s toughest encounters, with some highlights being the Fire Knight, Clan Boss & the Hydra! Starting with Dwarven Might [A1], he attacks a target enemy 3 times & decreases their Turn Meter by 15% on each hit, however when facing targets that are immune this will be substituted with Freeze Debuffs. The value of this skill goes beyond purely the Fire Knight [with examples being The Dark Fae or Spider’s Den progression], although placing Freeze Debuffs is a vital component for controlling the Turn Meter in the Hard mode, therefore making him the Legendary Alure in a sense.

This champion also has forms of AOE Decrease Attack & Weaken placement, coinciding with a counter attack buff on himself for potential mischief tanking [Which his passive deals 100% instead of 75% when Counter Attacking]. The synergy of this A2 can be utilised for mitigating damage enemies inflict, whilst also amplifying the damage you may deal. Last but not least, Gnut’s A3 attacks 3 times again, with each hit decreasing the target’s Defence by 3% [Stacks up to 30%], whilst each hit will also heals this Champion by 30% of the damage dealt. The synergy of this skill has great potential, as its damage scales on his defence and the Target’s Max HP, therefore optimising this can lead to deadly attacks!

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
