Cachi the Guard Animus Spotlight

Cachi the Guard, also known as the “Fearless Guard,” is one of Etheria: Restart’s most unique support-style tanks. While he might fly under the radar compared to flashier DPS units, Cachi the Guard brings rare utility to the table. He’s a hybrid buffer and debuffer who leans heavily on effect accuracy, giving him a unique build path that enhances both offensive and defensive capabilities. If you’re looking for a flexible unit that can manipulate turn order and reinforce your team’s survivability, Cachi the Guard is well worth your attention.

In this Article, we are going to be breaking down the best ways to utilize Cachi the Guard, and how to gear him for the best possible results.

Skill Analysis

Hammer Dance (Skill 1)

Deals two hits of 120% damage to a single target, each with a 20% chance to apply Crit Rate Down for 2 turns. While not a damage-dealing powerhouse, this move chips away at enemy crit potential—solid for PvP or boss fights with high burst threats.

Brave Charger (Skill 2)

Three hits of 90% damage to a single target. Each hit has a 65% chance to push back Strike Prep by 20%, and the final hit inflicts Speed Down for 2 turns. Between the pushback and speed debuff, this move is ideal for controlling dangerous enemies or bosses, slowing down their impact significantly.

Steadfast Demeanor (Skill 3)

Cachi the Guard applies 2 turns of Defense Up to all allies. On a success, he also grants 1 turn of Immunity, and on a critical success, extends all buffs by 1 turn.

  • Success rate is determined by 80% of Cachi’s the Guard Effect Accuracy.
  • Critical success is determined by 55% of Effect Accuracy. This buff-extension mechanic is one of a kind in Etheria: Restart, allowing you to stack longer-lasting buffs for your entire team with the right investment.

Skill Investment Order

Priority Order: Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 1

Skill 3 (Steadfast Demeanor):

  • Levels 1–4 increase both success and critical success trigger chances, scaling based on his effect accuracy. This dramatically boosts how often you gain immunity and buff extension, turning him into a true team enabler.

Skill 2 (Brave Charger):

  • This will give him better Strike Prep pushback, Speed Down reliability, and cooldown reduction. It makes Cachi the Guard much more effective at enemy control.

Skill 1 (Hammer Dance):

  • Useful, but not game-changing. It slightly increases damage and crit rate down reliability, but it doesn’t scale Cachi the Guard’s primary value.
