Etheria Restart Content Breakdown

In this article we will be breaking down all the different content areas whilst progressing through Etheria: Restart. We aim to provide clarity on what you can find in each area from opponents being faced and reward drops. As we get closer to the launch of Etheria: Restart, we will be adding specific guides for each of the bosses.

The Grim pursuit is where we farm shells. Shells are a key feature in Etheria: Restart and important when it comes to Animus builds. Often making or breaking a build. There are a number of bosses found here ranging in difficulty.

The bosses are as follows:

• Jacques (Basic- Hard)
• Shadowrunner (Basic- Hard)
• Apate (Basic- Hard)
• Kururu (Basic- Hard)
• Febian (Hard – Nightmare)
• Whitney (Hard – Nightmare)
• NicoNana (Hard – Inferno)
• Sharon (Hard – Inferno)
• Astarte (Hard – Inferno)

As you progress through the bosses and their difficulties. The quality of the shell drops improves, with Astarte Inferno dropping some of the most sought after shells in Codex of Magic and Lighthouse.

The Threshold is where we farm Modules. Modules are just as important, if not more, than shells when it comes to Animus builds. This will be an area players spend a lot of time to try and min max builds. There are a number of bosses found here ranging in difficulty.

The bosses are as follows:

• Terrormaton (Basic- Cataclysm)
• DokiDoki (Basic- Cataclysm)
• Aurora (Basic- Cataclysm)

As you progress through the bosses and their difficulties. The quality of the module drops improves but so do the parameters when it comes to team building. For example Cataclysm DokiDoki will drop the amazing Swiftraid modules, but she will deal 100% more damage to Reason Animus.

The Investigation is where we farm experience (XP). As is typical for this genre, you need to farm XP to level up your Animus and Etheria: Restart is no different.

Players will start at the Ultra Building and then proceed through the following stages.

• Decaninth Street
• Canary Manor
• Fantasy Club: Part 1
• Fantasy Club: Part 2
• Leiboz Base: Upper
• Leiboz Base: Lower
• Shan Hoi Mansion
• Fanciful Vision Hotel

The XP drop scales as you go up through the stages. So its important for players to farm as higher level as possible. Efficiency is the game here and we want as much XP per stamina spent.

The GP outpost is where farm prowess material. When it comes to improving an Animus’ ability to clear content, level and gear (Modules/Shells) are factors. But another way is Prowess. Prowess is Etheria: Restarts term for skill upgrades, as you upgrade an animus skills they will often unlock improved abilities. This could be in the form of a pure damage increases or improving an ability itself.

There is an area for each element:

• Reason (Basic- Inferno)
• Odd (Basic- Inferno)
• Hollow (Basic- Inferno)
• Disorder (Basic- Inferno)
• Constant (Basic- Inferno)

As you progress through the difficulties, the quality of the prowess material drops improves. With Inferno dropping materials allowing you to improve your SSR Animus.

Anisync Echoes is a side challenge area in Etheria: Restart. The fight variety here is high, with players fighting both Grim Pursuit bosses and Animus units turned bosses. Just like other areas of the game difficulty starts at Basic going through to Inferno at the latter stages. It is worthwhile doing this as you get all sorts of rewards that will help you progress.

Rewards are as follows:

• Modules
• Lattices (for both SR and SSR)
• Apex Prototypes (Summons)
• Shadowprints (Chickens for Raid players)

The Phantom Theater is a Team Challenge! Yes thats right, a Co-op mode. The challenge is split into 3, with a Reason, Odd and Hollow boss. Which means team play is the key here, if you are matched against the Odd boss, but are better suited against Hollow you can switch. Playing to each others strength will benefit everyone as the further your progress the better the reward.

Difficulty starts at Basic and goes through to Nightmare.

Supply boxes have a number of rewards with the SSR chest having Hydra Crystals, Shadowprints and Investigation records.

This is a fresh twist on what we would normally see in this genre and we are all for it.

The Ember Abyss is another challenge mode. There is a basic and hard difficulty with hard only unlocking once basic has been cleared. Think of this like a tower mode, starting at floor one and making your way up to floor 30. Just like the Anisync Echoes, you will be fighting both Grim Pursuit bosses and Animus alike.

Rewards differ but one thing is consistent, Leiboz supply points. These can be turned in at the supply hub for a spin on the wheel! The wheel is filled with investigation records, hydra crystal and a couple of mystery items!

As well as the Leiboz supply points, you will get Etheria coin every odd level. The even levels will give you Shadowprints, Lattices, Anima Prototypes and Hydra Crystals.

The Ethernet Rally is Etheria: Restarts on Roguelike. This is mode has 3 area for players to progress in each one requiring different unit elements.

There is one for Reason, Odd and Hollow. Constant and Disorder units can be used in all 3 areas. I know what you are thinking and the answer is don’t worry. You can use your Massiah in multiple teams! Just make sure he has gear!

Oh yeah, thats another thing. The gear you have on your heroes is brought through to here too. So make sure your Animus are ready to fight.

Supply points are scattered throughout and these will give you power up cards. Power up cards are very powerful and can make it much easier for you to clear the Ethernet Rally. Some will give you Crit damage, others might increase your teams speed. So make sure you visit every one!

Etheria: Restart has made sure to include recruitment points, so if you are missing a key animus dont threat. You might get lucky and be able to add them to your roster for this run. But be careful, recruitment points are limited and the options available to you are not restricted the area. You might get given a great Odd hero like Tiamat in the reason area. So choose wisely as you will need multiple balanced teams! This is because…

Collapse points. These are where two different team runs meets. At this point there will be a boss fight and you need to be able to clear this TWICE. Once for each team.

Meme Hunt

• Animus Memes have three affinities: Reason, Odd and Hollow. Each affinity contains 13 types of memes, totaling 39 types.
• Each event includes 5 meme-seeking quests, each quest require collecting 5 types of Odd memes. Complete collection to receive rewards.

Meme Challenge

• Hyperlinks can perform the Meme Challenge 4 times per day.
• For each meme challenge, you can choose one of three odd memes. Successfully completing the challenge will gran the chosen odd meme.
• Challenge failures will not consume daily challenge attempts.

Meme Prayer

• You can select up to 3 types of odd memes as Wishing Memes each day. Once confirmed, they cannot be changed for the day.
• Hyperlinkers can gift excess Odd Memes to each other. Once the gifted meme is claimed, the gifter will receive a small thank-you reward.
• Each hyperlinker can gift up to 5 types of Animus Memes to others per day.

Basic Rules

• Build your challenges and rewards on the board through several rounds of card dealing.
• You can only challenge 1 Cubic Boards per day, refreshing the next day.
• Before completing the build, you have 3 chances to reset the board.
• Unlock Nightmare difficulty at the level 35, unlock Cataclysm difficulty at level 50.
• New difficulty unlocks stronger decks, more rewards, and tougher challenges.

Blessing Cards

• Each round, choose one Blessing Card from 3 cards to place on the board.
• You can reset your choices each round by using Cancel Placement.
• Blessing Empower cards can increase the reward star level of bosses and gift boxes within the range.
• Special Blessing cards can enhance your Blessing Empower or have the function of changing the board.
• The higher the star level, the better the rewards, with the highest being Red 3 Star.
