Wyrm Hollow Boss Guide

Wyrm Hollow is one of three Union Bosses that you will face in Etheria: Restart, which serve as the game’s Clan Boss in essence.

The Wyrm Bosses are a Union Wide progression boss, where you will gain more rewards based on the damage you deal to it.

Hollow A highly dangerous fission creature born from the Etheron Turbulent Stream. Empowered by special Hollow particles, it possesses strength beyond limits, bringing a calamity from which no one can escape.

In this guide, we will break down Wyrm Hollow’s Skills, how to face this encounter, as well as recommending what we would consider an ideal progression team to help you along the way.

Wyrm Hollow Skills

Spatial Whirlwind

Condenses otherworldly energy to deal 2 hit(s) of 250% damage to all enemies; if the targets has fewer than 2 buff(s), increases the damage multiplier by 400%.

Converging Stream

Summons otherworldly beams to deal 600% damage to a single enemy and gain a 2-turn [ATK+].

Black Hole

Simulates a black hole space to deal 450% damage to all enemies with a 75% chance to dispel 2 buff(s) from the targets.

Digital Calibration

Detonates countless space turbulences to deal 600% damage to all enemies, ignore 100% of target’s DEF; for every 1 type(s) of buffs the target has, the DEF Breach ratio decreases by 33%.

Data Blockage

When attacking Wyrm, the attacker’s damage increases by 25% for every 1 buff(s) they have.

Weak Point

When Wyrm is attacked by units of countering type, increases DMG Taken by an additional 100%.

Self-Upgrade

For every 2 skills Wyrm uses, gains 1 stack(s) of [Self-Upgrade].

How to beat Wyrm Hollow

The Union Boss Wyrm is a high-endurance DPS check that flips the script on Etheria’s typical boss mechanics. Unlike Wyrm Disorder, this version of Wyrm punishes teams that lack buffs, making it a unique challenge where buff uptime directly influences your damage output and survivability. Wyrm is immune to all control effects and DoT damage, and its strike prep and cooldowns cannot be altered, so don’t bother bringing units that rely on debuffs or action bar control to carry. The goal is to reduce its 100 HP bar to 0, with scores scaling based on how far you get. A perfect run (Tier 100) gives a SSS Rank, with lower thresholds offering S, A, B, and so on.

Understanding Wyrm Hollow’s skills is crucial. Its Spatial Whirlwind AoE becomes more dangerous if you have fewer than two buffs. Converging Stream boosts the Wyrm’s attack, and Black Hole strips two buffs before delivering massive AoE damage. The most dangerous skill, Digital Calibration, ignores 100% defense, but this is mitigated by 33% per active buff—have three, and it ignores nothing. Meanwhile, Wyrm’s passive, Data Block, makes it take 25% more damage per buff you have—with no upper limit. Another passive, Weak Spot, causes units of the Odd element to deal 100% bonus damage, so team composition matters a lot here.

Your core strategy? Maintain at least three buffs on all units at all times. This number maximizes survivability and exploits the Data Block passive. Buff spam is rewarded, but not at the cost of team cohesion—overloading on buffs without proper healing or survivability will get you wiped. Some characters are especially well-suited to this fight. DokiDoki is a top-tier option, with her undispellable Backup and Data Stream buffs that also increase speed and strike prep, synergizing perfectly with the fight’s demands. Xiada brings strong self-buff synergy and built-in Defense Down, plus she’s an Odd unit for that sweet bonus damage.

Support picks matter too. Rahu builds Wrath stacks that provide defense and counterattacks—her buffs can’t be dispelled and align perfectly with the need for long fights. Lingluo is a standout healer: her healing scales with the number of buffs, and she can extend buff durations and grant constant uptime via Whale Prayer. If you don’t have her, Dorothy and Dorothy the Wisher provide accessible alternatives, offering utility like Life Leech, Crit Rate, and Casket Remedy. Lily also brings a unique edge with Twin Trick, a sticky buff that enhances speed and crit damage for a single ally, making her ideal for boosting your main DPS.

To wrap it up, Wyrm isn’t a mechanics-heavy fight—it’s a buff management and team durability test. Stack buffs, rotate wisely, and bring characters who synergize well with the boss mechanics. Don’t forget that Odd units have massive value, and prioritize buff variety without sacrificing sustain. Hitting Tier 100 won’t come easy, but with the right prep and synergy, it’s absolutely within reach—and worth the bragging rights.
