Final Beta, New Features, and What’s Coming
The Etheria: Restart team just dropped what they are calling Hyper Talk, and it’s packed with updates, answers, and exciting news leading up to the final test on May 8th.
Community Manager Chris (aka C on Discord) and host Ellie sat down to break it all down. If you missed it, don’t worry—we’ve got the full recap right here.
Pre-Registration and Launch

First things first:
- Pre-registration is now live on the App Store, Google Play, Steam, and Etheria: Restart’s official website.
- Pre-registering gets you exclusive rewards—yes, including Chakra Ring’s Game Village Red Devil skin and special home/battle outfits.
- April 25 is the big day for Etheria: Restart’s launch preview livestream, where they’ll reveal the full official release date and more new features.
Final Beta Test – May 8th
Mark your calendars: the Final Test begins May 8th, and it’s more than just a bug hunt—this is the first time all paid features will be fully enabled.
The team wants to stress-test the monetization systems, get player feedback, and ensure everything’s polished for launch.
Key Beta Questions Answered
Stamina System
The daily stamina cap will stay the same for now, but the devs are watching player data closely and are ready to adjust post-launch if needed. There will also be plenty of ways to earn stamina through events and regular gameplay.
Stamina Lost on Failures
Yes, failing a challenge stage still costs 1 stamina. No changes here—for now—though the team will monitor stability and balance.
Idle System & One-Click Sweep
Many players requested a “sweep” feature. While it’s not coming just yet, the devs acknowledged the feedback and may revisit this after evaluating how players build and optimize their teams.
PVE Support System
Confirmed! You’ll be able to borrow friends’ Animus in Union Boss Battles, and Phantom Theater will support teaming up as well. More co-op and borrowing features are in development.
Monetization Philosophy
Etheria: Restart is committed to a fair and accessible system for both paying and free-to-play players. Every Animus and progression system will be accessible without spending, but expect to invest more time if you’re going fully free-to-play. Thankfully, daily missions and events will provide premium resources like Hydro Crystals and Anima Prototypes.
New Characters and Game Modes

New Animus Incoming!
Yes—multiple new characters will debut in the final test. Their abilities and stories will be showcased during the April 25 livestream.
New Modes and Events
Based on feedback, several systems are being refined, and new game modes are being added. While we didn’t get full details yet, it’s clear that PvE and PvP are both getting significant upgrades.
Tournament News: Fearless Arena & Beyond
Get ready to test your skills:
- A brand new competitive PvP mode called Fearless Arena is being introduced in the final beta.
- The existing Etherina and Summit Arena will continue to evolve.
- Official tournaments are coming post-launch, with a goal to establish Etheria: Restart as a turn-based strategy esport with a fair, skill-based competitive system.
