Light & Dark SSR Guide

In Etheria: Restart, [Constant] (Light) and [Disorder] (Dark) SSRs are among the rarest and most powerful units in the game. For lucky players who pull one early, these characters can offer immediate and long-term value across PvE and PvP. This guide breaks down each of the current [Constant] and [Disorder] SSRs—evaluating their core mechanics, utility, and best roles in your team.

Doki Doki – The Ultimate Support Engine

DokiDoki is one of the most versatile support units in Etheria. While she does no damage herself, she offers an unmatched mix of cooldown reduction, purifying, turn meter manipulation, and buffing.

  • Purification: Her passive [Backup] system removes 3 debuffs from allies before they take their turn, scaling with the number of [Backup] stacks she has.
  • Cooldown Reduction: Her second skill reduces cooldowns of the ally with the highest total skill CD five times in a row, applying a buff called [Data Stream] (which increases both damage and speed).
  • Turn Meter Push: Her ultimate pushes the turn meter of the lowest-turn units eight times by 12%, while also restoring her own backup stacks.

She replaces traditional rotation supports like Chiaki the Echo and fits seamlessly into nearly any comp that needs survivability and skill cycling. Her only downside is the lack of damage—but the utility more than compensates.

Massiah – Invincibility AoE Nuker

Massiah is a high-scaling AoE attacker with built-in invincibility. He’s at his best when supported with gear focused on crit, crit damage, and attack%.

  • Invincibility Engine: He gains [Invincibility] on kill, and refreshes it if it’s already active. His Skill 3 grants this on cast as well.
  • Defense Ignore: His AoE nuke hits twice for 180% damage and ignores 70% of enemy defense and passives.
  • Execution Finisher: His Skill 2 deals bonus damage based on the target’s lost HP—great for finishing off injured enemies.

Massiah requires strong gear to shine. He excels in PvP and PvE burst teams but is less efficient in long fights unless he can consistently secure kills.

Lily – Turn Engine & Cooldown Reset Specialist

Lily brings a unique kit that blends turn meter acceleration, crit damage amplification, and cooldown resetting for key allies.

  • [Twin Trick]: A special buff applied to one ally that accelerates their turn meter by 30% after every Lily action and enables follow-up attacks.
  • Team Buffs: She provides speed up, crit damage up, and a bonus turn to allies with [Twin Trick].
  • Cooldown Reset: Her AoE ultimate extends enemy cooldowns and resets ally cooldowns—hugely impactful in both PvP and PvE.

Lily enables aggressive, turn-manipulation teams. She’s especially strong when manually controlled in high-stakes content like Real-Time PvP or endgame PvE.

Heinrich – Debuff Stripper & Crit Amp Specialist

Heinrich is a flexible DPS and debuffer who thrives in both PvE and PvP. His unique debuff, [Last Words], increases crit rate and crit damage taken by the target.

  • Buff Dispel: His passive [Reaper’s Gaze] gives all his attacks a 50% chance to remove one buff.
  • Crit Amp: If no buff is removed, he applies [Last Words] stacking up to 4 times for huge damage potential.
  • Skill 3 Scaling: His AoE deals bonus crit damage per stack of [Last Words], making him a devastating finisher.

Heinrich is one of the best units for content that requires consistent buff stripping, like Terrormaton. He’s versatile enough to be built either as a damage dealer or utility disruptor.

Vengeful Thorn Sania – DOT Detonator Extraordinaire

Vengeful Thorn Sania (formerly Shadow Sania) is the best [DoT] damage dealer in the game. She specializes in detonation—instantly triggering the full damage of all existing [DoT] stacks.

  • DoT Application: Her passive [Wither] allows every skill to apply additional [DoT].
  • DoT Extension: Skill 2 hits all enemies and extends existing [DoT]s by one turn.
  • DoT Detonation: Skill 3 detonates all active [DoT]s, dealing immediate burst damage.

While she has no utility outside of [DoT]s, her synergy with units like Fangus and Obol makes her central to [DoT] team comps. For wave-clearing or boss burst phases, she’s nearly unmatched.

Conclusion: Light & Dark SSR Tier Overview

Every Light and Dark SSR has high value, with DokiDoki and Lily offering premium team utility, and Massiah, Heinrich, and Sania bringing exceptional damage potential when properly built. If you’re lucky enough to pull one of these early, build around them—you won’t regret it.
