Puppet Master Lilith is a high-impact AoE control DPS and one of the strongest early-game Animus choices in Etheria: Restart.

If you picked her as your starter or pulled her early, you’ve got yourself a powerful crowd control unit who thrives in both PvE and PvP. Lilith brings HP-scaling AoE damage, debilitating crowd control effects, and a toolkit built to disrupt enemy turns while taking extra ones herself. She’s ideal for controlling the pace of battle, shutting down dangerous enemies, and dominating tougher content with layered utility.

In this Article, we are going to be breaking down the best ways to utilize Lilith, and how to gear her for the best possible results.

Skill 1 – Cordus Gesture

Deals 20% of her Max HP as damage to a single target. After attacking, has a 20% chance to gain 1 extra turn.

This basic attack gives Lilith a chance to loop back into her powerful AoEs, making it surprisingly high value.

Skill 2 – Graceful Finale

Deals 20% of her Max HP to all enemies.

• 100% chance to inflict a 2-turn, 30% Speed Down on all enemies.
• Also detonates Graceful Mischief on the main target, reducing their strike prep by 100.

Skill 3 – Tea Time

Deals 15% of Max HP as AoE damage and applies Graceful Mischief to all targets, which:

• Detonates after 2 turns, dealing 30% of her Max HP as damage
• Has a 100% chance to stun the target when it explodes
• Grants Lilith an extra turn immediately

Her core combo is Skill 3 → Skill 2 to instantly detonate Graceful Mischief, applying mass control and turn delay across the board. This rotation gives her some of the most oppressive AoE utility in the game.

Skill upgrades are crucial to unlocking Lilith’s full potential.

Priority Order: Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 1

Skill 3 (Tea Time):

• Increases Graceful Mischief damage to 30% of Max HP
• Raises the infliction chance to 100%
• Guarantees stun on explosion
• Reduces cooldown by 1 turn

This turns Skill 3 into a guaranteed mass AoE control tool that immediately gives Lilith another turn.

Skill 2 (Graceful Finale):

• Boosts extra damage to 18% and then 20% of Max HP
• Increases Speed Down chance to 100%
• Strike prep reduction becomes guaranteed at 100%

It becomes a reliable follow-up nuke with guaranteed turn denial and debuff application.

Skill 1 (Cordus Gesture):

• Increases damage to 18% and then 20% of Max HP
• Raises the extra turn chance to 20%

While useful, it’s a clear third priority behind her control tools.

Early Game Module Sets:

Mid-to-Late Game Sets:

• Swift Smite: +15% Speed and +20% Effect Accuracy – ideal for PvP where reliable debuffs matter most.

Lilith’s kit rewards frequent turns and high HP. These sets enhance her control uptime and damage through her scaling.

Early Game:

• HP% / HP / Effect Accuracy
  Boosts her damage scaling and gives a better chance to land debuffs early when gear options are limited.

Mid-to-Late Game:

• HP% / Effect Accuracy / Effect Resistance
  As content gets harder, you’ll need her to consistently land Graceful Mischief, while resisting crowd control herself.

The goal is to land her key debuffs without getting locked out of turns.

Early Game Shells:

• Unbridled Science (Shadowrunner): Increases strike prep by 30% after action – great for turn cycling.
• Mermaid Princess (Kururu): Cleanses 2 debuffs before acting if Lilith has any – key to keeping her rotating.
• Shan Hai Jing (Whitney): Every 3 enemy actions increases strike prep by 20% – fantastic for long fights.

Mid-to-Late Game Shells:

• Alicorn (NicoNana): Dispels 3 debuffs and heals 10% per debuff before acting – massive anti-control and sustain in PvP.
• Codex of Magic (Astarte): Before acting, removes cooldowns from next skill and grants +10% Speed for 2 turns – lets Lilith instantly double tap Skills 2 or 3 for devastating control chains.

These shells ensure Lilith gets turns quickly, avoids disruption, and keeps her control combo online.

Pros:

• Massive AoE Crowd Control: Stuns, Speed Down, and turn pushback all in one kit.
• HP Scaling Makes Her Tanky: Easier to build early game.
• Self-Sustaining Turns: Skill 1 and Skill 3 both provide extra turns.
• Great for PvE and PvP: Especially excels against dangerous enemy carries.
• Shutdown Utility: Can isolate priority threats and keep them out of the fight.

Cons:

• HP-Only Scaling: Damage doesn’t keep up in endgame against high-HP enemies.
• Relies on Landing Debuffs: Completely shut down in any content where Effect Resistance is high.
