Valerian Animus Spotlight

Valerian stands out as one of Etheria: Restart’s most unique support units.

As the only character who can equalize HP across the entire team, she offers rare and powerful utility. Her kit is built around healing, damage mitigation, and a special buff redistribution effect that makes her an excellent safety net in high-damage encounters. If you need a sustain-focused support that can keep squishier allies alive while offering utility, Valerian is a great choice.

In this Article, we are going to be breaking down the best ways to utilize Valerian, and how to gear her for the best possible results.

Skill Analysis

Skill 1 – Profound Dream

Deals 240% damage to a single enemy and has a 40% chance to inflict Slumber (sleep). Targets under Slumber can’t act and take 25% increased damage when hit.

Great for single-target control and opening up burst windows.

Skill 2 – Bubble

Grants 1 turn of Invincibility to a selected ally and applies 1 turn of Heal over Time to all allies. If the target’s HP is below 50%, the HoT duration is extended by 1 turn.

Perfect for saving a key unit while providing team-wide sustain.

Skill 3 – Deep Sleep

Redistributes current HP evenly among all allies, then grants Valerian 2 turns of Hazy Dream. While under Hazy Dream, she becomes immune to control and strike prep manipulation but can’t act. Each turn, she gives allies a 12% max HP shield and a missing basic buff (Attack, Defense, Crit Rate, or Speed Up). If an ally would die, Valerian heals for 20% of her max HP and the effect ends.

This is a powerful prevention tool that keeps your team stable through burst phases and long encounters.
