Xiada Animus Spotlight

Xiada, the Alluring Enchantress, is an exceptional AoE nuker in Etheria: Restart, perfect for players who enjoy explosive damage and satisfying screen wipes. While her raw potential is high, unlocking her true strength relies heavily on timing and managing her Soul Flame evolution. Built properly, Xiada can obliterate enemy teams with style and control.

In this Article, we are going to be breaking down the best ways to utilize Xiada, and how to gear her for the best possible results.

Skill Analysis

Skill 1: Spectral Surge

Deals 3 hits of 90% damage to a single target. Each hit has a 20% chance to steal a buff.

  • When Soul Flames are fully evolved, this chance increases to 80%.
  • Stealing (not dispelling) buffs feeds directly into her passive, enabling faster evolution.
  • This makes her skill 1 a vital tool for both disruption and self-scaling.

Passive: Soul Essence

For every 3 buffs Xiada gains or steals, she evolves her Soul Flames once (up to 3 times).

Each evolution grants:

  • +18% ATK
  • +10% CRIT DMG
  • These buffs cannot be dispelled, giving her scaling power that persists mid-fight.

Skill 3: Azure Flame

Unleashes all Soul Flames to deal 2 hits of 120% AoE damage.

  • 60% chance to inflict a 2-turn Defense Break
  • For each Soul Flame evolution, reduces the cooldown by 1 turn and adds +1 hit of 100% damage
  • This turns her into a scaling AoE nuker, with optimal damage achieved at 3 stacks

Skill Investment Order

Skill 3 – Top Priority

  • Boosts Defense Break chance to 60%
  • Increases bonus damage per evolution to 100%
  • Reduces cooldown
  • This is her main nuking tool and worth maxing first

Passive (Skill 2) – Second Priority

  • Adds +6% CRIT Rate and improves evolution bonuses
  • Lowers gear requirements for Crit Rate
  • Boosts crit damage and attack scaling directly through her core mechanic

Skill 1 – Final Priority

  • Increases damage and buff steal chance to 80% at max
  • Good utility, but relies on setup through Soul Flame evolutions

How to Build Xiada

Early Game Sets:

  • Onslaught: +45% ATK – basic but effective
  • Fury: +10% ATK and +12% bonus damage on crits

Mid to Late Game Sets:

  • Keeneye: +18% CRIT DMG, boosts first 3 hits each turn
  • Harvest: +10% ATK, ignores 30% DEF if target is above 50% HP
  • Swift Raid: +15% Speed and +20% ATK – great for faster rotations
  • Fury Edge: +12% CRIT Rate and +20% CRIT DMG – best for pure nuking

Stat Priorities

Main Stats:

  • Crit Rate / Crit DMG / ATK%
  • Optional: Double Crit DMG builds if crit cap is met

Substats:

  • Crit Rate until capped (~100%)
  • ATK%, Crit DMG, and Speed
  • Survivability optional, but damage stats are king

Shell Recommendations

Early Game Shells:

  • Agent Lizard (Jaque) – Easy access for burst
  • Budo Panda (Apate) – Solid stat gain
  • Twilight Knight (Fabian) – Enhances nuking potential with defense reduction

Mid-to-Late Game Shells:

  • White Fang (NikoNana) – Follow-up damage and Crit DMG stacking
  • Count (Astarte) – Life Leech + ATK boost
  • Codex of Magic (Astarte) – Useful for skill cycling and additional survivability

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • High-scaling AoE nuker with unmatched burst at full Soul Flame stacks
  • Self-synergizing kit: stealing buffs empowers her directly
  • Can apply her own Defense Break, making her self-sufficient
  • Cannot be fully countered by dispels due to her unremovable buffs

Cons:

  • Weak without Soul Flame stacks – needs setup time
  • Can feel underwhelming early game without gear or investment
  • Reliant on stealing/gaining buffs – struggles vs. debuff-heavy teams
  • Needs smart timing of Skill 3 for full payoff
