Cubic Game Guide
The Cubic Game is a daily event in Etheria: Restart. It is a very simple game that pays big dividends if players know how to play it right. We will break it all down here in its simplest form to hopefully help you get the top rewards.
Overview

There are 4 different difficulties: Normal, Hard, Nightmare, and Hell. Today’s example is Hard.
When players first enter the game, they will be presented with a screen like the above.
There will be a variety of Animus spread around the board, with the reward they drop provided in the top-left corner. This can be coins, training data, shadowprints, lattice fragments, summons, and Hydra Crystals.
The Animus on the board start at 1 star, with the aim being to increase their star rating as high as possible to increase the reward they drop and the weekly reward players receive at the end. Once 3 stars have been surpassed, the reward rarity increases. The rarity increase follows that of Modules and Shells — going Blue, Purple, Yellow, etc. Do note, players do not have to cover every animus on the board. Players can instead choose to target one or two and try to max the rewards on them. But the better the reward the harder the fight.
Once the dealing has finished, players can fight and beat the Animus to win the reward.
Types of Tiles

Purple Tiles
Purple tiles increase the star rating of all Animus they cover by the number at the bottom. In our experience, the number at the bottom is always 1 to start. Below is an example image showing two purple tiles placed, increasing the star ratings of the different Animus they affect.

Pink Tiles
Pink tiles increase the star rating of purple tiles by one. They do not affect Animus. These are particularly good if you can place them to cover multiple purple tiles. Below is an example of us placing a pink tile to power up purple tiles, which in turn increases the star rating on the Animus.
As you can see in the example, once this tile was placed, Dokidoki went to 3 stars (covered by the cross at the bottom), and Massiah and Lilith also went to 3 (covered by the horizontal). Helkid, being affected by both, increased twice, which pushed him into the next rarity.

Wild Cards (Orange bordered)
The last tile that players come across are wild cards (orange-bordered). We are not sure exactly how many different kinds are available, but in our experience, we have seen some that add additional Animus to the grid, change the position of Animus currently on the board, a +1 increase to everything (essentially a pink and purple tile), and swap out one Animus on the board for a different one with a different reward.
These are cool as they allow players to get better rewards, either through increasing everything or just swapping out the Animus with a coin reward for one with summons. We are big fans.
Can I place more Tiles?
As the difficulty increases, players are able to place more tiles. Normal starts with 3, hard is 6, nightmare is 8. Inferno we havent unlocked yet at the time of writing but we assume there will be another increase.
End of Dealing

Once all Animus have been defeated thats your game done for the day. Etheria Restart will tally the highest difficulty, amount of stars you managed to achieve and the rarest material found and add it to your weekly rewards. Below are two different examples from two different accounts.
