Final Beta Account Review – Ragewood
After an intense few days in Etheria: Restart’s final closed beta, it’s time to pull back the curtain on my 10 days of glory. From tackling the toughest PvE content to clawing my way up the PvP leaderboards, this beta test was a whirlwind of strategy, resource management, and some good ol’ fashioned grind. Whether you’re prepping for launch or just curious how far a committed player can push in ten days, this deep-dive account overview will give you the insights, wins, and struggles straight from the frontlines.
Let’s break it all down—from builds and metas to where I think the game could use a little balance tweaking.
Level 53 in 10 Days: Stamina-Fueled Progress
I ended the CBT at level 53, nearly hitting 54. Every day I used all my stamina, and yes—I also used Hydra Crystals for stamina refreshes rather than summons. I’d probably start banking those Crystals post level 50. Once you unlock most systems, stamina becomes less urgent. It’s one of the first things I’d shift heading into launch.
Hyperlink Charter and Endgame Goals

Progress in the Hyperlink Charter was solid—clearing an awful lot of it, except for brutal endgame stages like Ember Trek Area 30. Only two players managed to beat it, and hats off to them! For Animus Fate, I didn’t max skills on any SRs, but was close. Module Modification was another sticking point—leveling mythic modules is brutally expensive, and I couldn’t hit all milestones like farming Aurora Hell 10 times, due to inability to auto it.
Arena Rankings: PvP Reflections and Meta Trends

In Ether Arena, I finished Master Rank 3, ranking 17th in EU. Summit Arena (RTA) was even more competitive—I landed 13th, which I’m incredibly proud of considering the late push.
PvP meta saw an interesting shift. Speed dominated early, but once Bulwark gear unlocked, bruiser comps with double supports began creeping in. These teams could soak burst damage and outlast opponents, especially when using disruptive gear to avoid freeze and knockbacks. I fully expect this bruiser meta to evolve further post-launch.
Account Highlights: Animus and Shells

Let’s talk heroes. I pulled all but a few SSRs, with most light/dark units coming from permanent banners, not Apex—amazing news for F2P players.
- Massiah: Got one copy. Maxed skill three for defense ignore. Shell: Revelation, leveled to 40 with 51 speed.
- Tiamat: The reliable bruiser. Shell: Lighthouse with Bramble/Timeweave for strong sustain (Speed 52).
- Lily: My second fastest at 260 speed. Key support in PvP. Tip: Level her skill 1 early—it grants 15 speed through prowess.
- Marvell: MVP of the beta. 271 speed, incredible control with knockback, silence, and resistance down. He unlocks doors in both PvP and PvE.
- Rosa: Late-game nuker with strong synergy from self-buffed crit rate.
- Sania: Don’t sleep on her—revives, passive healing, and survivability make her a top-tier support.
- Kloss: My go-to for defense down, doubling as a pseudo-attack down debuffer.
- Freya: Excellent early banner support.
- Kraken: Solid utility, paired well with Marvell in speed comps.
I ended up with seven 8-star heroes, which gave me plenty of options across content.
Shells, Gearing, and the Resource Wall

One of the biggest pain points? Economy imbalance. Leveling mythic modules is extremely expensive, and you just can’t experiment easily. Substat rolling is gated behind a wall of Etheria Coins. Similar story with Shells and training data, while reconfig chips pile up unused.
Recommendation: Either reduce training data costs or allow reconfig chips to be used in the leveling process. The current system makes theorycrafting builds nearly impossible for average players.
My best shells were tuned for speed, often netting 50+ bonus including the upgrades. Shells like Jackal Guard, Gigabyte, and Alicorn were essential for pushing top-end PvP.
PvE Progress: Grim Pursuit, Threshold, and beyond

In Grim Pursuit, I cleared all content up to Hell and could farm effectively—but Inferno was off-limits (Rengokutsu due to the level 55 gate). Aurora Hell was doable manually but not auto-farmable, thanks to clunky AI that prioritizes skill 3s instead of opening with dispels. A customizable AI opener, like in RAID, would dramatically improve farming QoL.
Terrormaton and DokiDoki mirrored this pattern—solid clears up to Hell, but struggles at Inferno or the last boss waves without specific comps. DOT-based strategies work wonders, but setup limitations made auto-farming impractical.
Summons and Shell Archives

As a semi-whale, I had a great haul—but even F2P players got over 600 summons, which is insane value. My Animus Archive was nearly complete, and while I recycled Shells heavily towards the end. I’d recommend holding on to more versatile shells come full launch.
Shops and Currency Limits

The exchange shops were a highlight—well-stocked, flexible, and friendly to active players. Arena shops let me top up training data and Etheria Coins, which were in short supply. The only drawback? Weekly Summit Arena & Fearless Arena currency caps at 2,000 meant I hit walls quickly when buying these upgrade items.
Final Lessons for Launch
This beta showed just how far you can go in 10 days with dedication—and a few strategic purchases. Key takeaways for launch:
- Marvell is a priority pull. If you get him early, invest—he makes everything easier.
- Don’t blow your 7-day reset items too early. Wait until you really know your team.
- Use Hydra Crystals. Spend them early on Stamina refill, but use wisely after unlocking core features (8-9 days).
- Don’t overinvest in niche heroes. Target usability and efficiency.
Closing Thoughts: Bring on Launch Day!
I had an absolute blast with Etheria: Restart’s final closed beta. The systems are deep, the combat is engaging, and the potential for competitive gameplay is massive. But like any beta, it wasn’t perfect—resource balancing and AI control need some love.
If you’re hyped for launch, stay tuned. We’ll be back with more guides, tier lists, and team-building breakdowns the moment the servers go live.
Until then—work hard, play harder. I’ll see you in Etheria!
